The Revolution: A Manifesto is being published by Grand Central Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Livre which is owned by the French media giant Lagardère SCA.

In the past all of Dr. Paul's books have been published by Mises or other small, indy publishers. Getting Grand Central involved is actually quite a coup, especially since there doesn't seem to be a ghostwriter at all, and makes me wonder whether there was a whole hell of lot going on behind the scenes with this book deal.

Somebody has connections. And once again as smart as we think Ron Paul is, the man is a much shrewder politician than we can even imagine. :D

That's fat money. What types of books do they usually publish?

speak for yourself. i have always thought that Paul's strategy for his ongoing general election win is genius.

this book will be number one the entire summer, propelled by RP supporters and other book worms will pick it up and become supporters!~

also i dont recommend buying the book from that bookbomb site because they are making money off affiliates... the book will be number one without that websites help!

When you get popular, and you write a book, big publishers take notice. It is all about making money. If they know they can make a ton of money from Ron Paul because of his growing popularity, they will be sure to jump on board.

Dr. Paul knows exactly what he is doing. He has been in this game long enough to know how it works. He is not a rookie.

The creator of that site has already stated the affiliate profits are going to the campaign! The affiliate money will help Ron Paul (and will only hurt Amazon's bottom line).

They've published many NY Times Best Sellers...

They published Colbert's " I Am America (And So Can You!)" for one...

alright i guess its a fine way to raise 2300 max

So what exactly does it mean when it says "audio book"? The link at the Daily Paul takes you to Amazon.com where you can prepurchase an audio book. Is this a book and a CD? Or is it an entire book on audio only? sounds strange.

14,000 billion? that's 14 trillion.

Whoever one-starred this thread is bitter about the billionaire story, lol. I'm five-starring it to spite you.

Don't blame me, it was a copy/paste.

Haha. Usually I don't read 3-star threads with a low number of posts because it typically means someone 1-starred it, then someone else (usually the OP) got bitter and 5-starred it.

Ok, that makes more sense. Seems like this will be a hell of a book and I'm glad to see Dr. Paul getting a bigger publisher than the Mises Institute.
