One big reason Dr. Paul lost Florida.....

Miami/Dade county is 61% Hispanic. At least 90% of those Hispanic are of Cuban descent. Cubans here in America Hate Castro. Dr. Paul said he would open up trade with Castro.

Dr. Paul got 1.91% of Miami/Dade and there is a lot of votes in that area.

Well it's too bad because they ended up voting for the people who did Elian Gonzales with a machine gun in his face.

They would love Dr. Paul, if only they knew him...

We have to win in states with caucuses! No fraud can happen there....at least if everyone registers ahead of time.

desperado ever heard of herd mentality.....

A few bucks spent here would have gone a long way. You try to build momentum towards Super Tuesday. It so damn frustrating to have to explain who Dr Paul is on election day. That tells me his current campaign is not working.

Might want to rethink that after what happen in the last caucus.

I would like to know where you got these numbers from. Please cite your sources.

Florida likes their tyranny well done. No big loss. McCain is the lib who drafted the amnesty bill with Kennedy. No surprise the south american vote was in his favor. In our current economic state only idiots would support the bogus war on terror. Not everyone will vote for a warmongering president, unfortunately they will be leaning democrat. Paul needs to step up to the plate and expose these bums for what they are. It's all in the delivery. I would like to hear him get fired up and forcefully take up more time in the debates. He's paying for the time USE IT!

Cuban-American Republicans are often left-of-center, Republicans only because they hate Kennedy or Clinton. They love people like Giuliani and McCain, and several state legislators backed Huckabee. Conservatism isn't so hot down there, especially given the declining influence of the aging Old Guard Cubans. Blind emotion reigns supreme in South Florida politics, and few care about the facts or reasoning.

And "only" about 50% of the Hispanics in Dade are Cuban. Central and South America have rapidly growing presences here.
