Hubby and I downloaded the 2nd RP DVD last night and went out and bought $500, worth of blanks and label makers and sleeves to make copies with for handing out at events.

We watched it for the First Time, in full, on our Big Screen TV this morning

HOLY WOW WEIRD EXPERIENCE!!!

I did not give the power of these things enough credit before.

Watching youtube videos from the internet of Paul on your computer screen is one thing.

Seeing HUGE crowds of supporters with signs, all the coverage you wish they would show on the tele, media love fests on Paul interviews, intermixed with founding fathers quotes and PBS like educational bits on how the Fed banking cartel really works, on your Big Screen TV in your Family Room is a powerful experience. ( No wonder Hillary is in the lead being pumped at america through that brain washing machine)

In short, we have captured most of the internet junkie base of America with RP you tube videos.

The best way to capture the bulk of Americas TV junkies base ( which is the majority of Americans, is with these Ron Paul DVDs.

I realize they are not as cheap as a slim jim to hand out, yet, the power in the form of delivery through the TV for the TV junkies out there yet to learn about Paul, his support and whats been going on with their country, is worth the extra money and then some I think.

Do what you can to help get these things in the hands of American voters and on family room Big Screen TVs, and anywhere else a TV is turned on.

BTW, we choose to roll with the 2nd DVD for mass copying.
I'm telling ya, the RP DVD has got to catch on. ;)

I'm downloading the 2nd DVD on bittorrent. Here's a few ideas:

- I'd like to see those guys at www.ronpauldvd.com provide an image of a Ron Paul mini-DVD, with less content, just the basics. Mini-DVDs are easier carry around and might be easier to hand out.

- Spanish subtitles :)

- The DVD covers in a file, so I can print them

Good ideas gtjwkq. Shoot them off to creator of that site.

Thanks for getting your own production line going. These things are great for converting the TV junkies, just like youtube coverted the internet junkies.

having it play in the family room is like getting the massive press Hillary gets only ten times greater and ten times more pro Paul Positive, for the TV junkies. no doubt that is why Hillary is leading the Polls. The masses are brainwashed on her from their televisions. Thats the medium we need to reach voters through as well.

Remember to tell whoever you pass them out to, to keep passing them along when they are done.

Newend, I don't know the exact resolution. The quality is excellent though.

I couldn't tell the difference between the burned DVD and my regular television resolution at all. That is what was so great about it. It was as if the MSM woke up and was flooding the networks with everything great about Ron Paul.

The download is FREE, the download of the label is FREE and a label making kit, only cost $14 dollars. It's easy, quick and looks really proffesional.

We found 100 count blank DVDs packs for $22 at office depot. Clear sleeves are cheap.

I can't wait to start passing this out. We want to have 1,000 being passed around out there to tens of thousands by Christmas.

what DVD did you download specifically? do you have a direct download to the page?

Mini-DVDs are a bad idea -- they'll jam up most slot-loading DVD drives.
Besides they cost just as much, whereas one can put 10x more info on a DVD and if one wanted to print a lot more on them. No slim jim needed just put in cheap zip-lock bags and hang on doors.

On disc 2, what's with not stretching the video to fill up the whole screen and leaving the american flag on the background?

That was a terrible decision, what a waste.

5 hours of video with that static image of the flag covering nearly 50% of the screen area will certainly cause burn-in on plasma TVs. :(

One word...

Compression. Full screen video compresses less. Sorry about the flag. Guess that makes reason #36 I didn't buy a plasma TV (or any TV at all). Some people like to gripe about the quality of the video, or perhaps that the disc is "too long". They can't seem to get it into their heads that it's the message that's important. Not how sharp the picture is. If web-quality video convinced you of Ron Paul's message... why can't it convince someone else?

Anyone else want to complain about other free stuff? Good grief. Perhaps I should just stop "waste"ing my time distributing these DVDs, go back to programming, and forget Ron Paul even exists. Letting someone else step up to the plate. Good thing the campaign has their DVD out. Oh, wait...

(Sorry, bad day, I guess...)

are the videos in high resolution?

Yeah the new DvD is really nice. It has a fully functional menu and it's very easy to navigate. They work really well. (Though alot of people ask me, "Who is Ron Paul and what kind of music do they play?)

I second the DVD idea!! I just burned one a few nights ago and they have loads of content!!

I need to get some more blanks!

I really admire your effort Sevenate, so I'd like you to see the bright side of my criticism (if anything, to make up for me being so negative, heh :) ). I really liked the 1st DVD, i'm sending them out to my friends and, hopefully, changing their minds about RP thanks to you.

Could you animate that flag once in a while? Change the image for each video? Actually, it would be better if you just cropped the video to the low resolution and removed the flag altogether. Maybe a no-flag version? If any crazy person blames you for the video being low-res, it's not like you can do anything about it!

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. Again, I really appreciate what you're doing here and I'm sure thousands out there do too.

No. You're doing a great job and keep the good work up, you patriotic hero :)

I wish I was as talented as you to do that. I have to go get some blank DVDs to burn my low quality DVD on. Oh well, at least the message is clear....

Do not leave this one out!

This one is excellent.
This DVD was just posted mere days ago and uses High Quality footage.

It was designed around the Christian issues and includes interview clips, debate points and the Iowa pastors meeting with Dr. Paul and Chuck Baldwin.

It is offered as a 2.46 Gb .iso torrent here:

This is amazing... when the media ignores us - we become the media. No wonder they're scared. ;)
