The American View Interview

Whoa - what a tough and zealous interviewer! Ron answered everything beautifully!

I consider myself a God fearing person but this guy seems to want some sort of theological government that forces their morality on everyone else.

Gives me the chills...

I'm a believer....and this guy gives me the chills:eek:
just what a loving Savior would want...
a Christian Talieban......run awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy:eek:

This radio station is in opposition to the concept of tolerance, especially of homosexuals, criticizing others of not using the Biblical argument against homosexuality. Also, they're in opposition to women serving in uniform or holding elected office!!

Good interview. It's one aspect of Ron I haven't heard a lot of before. It was hard to tolerate the ultra-conservative/fundamentalist host though...

This guy was a Christian nation, I fear that.

I also hate when people say, "Freedom OF religion not freedom FROM religion!"

And I respect Ron Paul. He keeps to his religious ways, no matter what. But he still lives "live and let live" philosophy. I don't see him enforcing anything on me, the host, "IF NOT THE BIBLE, ILLEGAL!"

update:
I respect Ron Paul for not hating on homosexuals. This guy is a nut. god.

I find the host's views as um....hardline shall we say.

Regardless there is a massive group of voters out there who subscribe to these views, and apparently just like the host, they are convertible to the cause of getting Ron Paul elected.

We need all the help we can get. Please remember this when you're representing Ron Paul as a supporter.

It was entertaining to listen to Ron Paul try to distance himself from this guy's views while still politely answering the questions without alienating his audience and maintaining his statement of faith.

Sounded a bit like RP was starting to wonder if this interview was a good idea.

haha, ya sorta. "Damn, this guy is one extreme Christian."

I like the hosts views about the constitution though, sorta. he's anti-war! :)

Host: "Dr. Paul, the Bible states that adulterers must be stoned to death and their children cast over the cliff, where do you think our nation went wrong in enforcing this mandate from God?"

Dr. Paul: ...

Yeah, I'm the son of a Pentecostal Preacher man myself, but that was rough interview in many respects. I think many "extreme" Christians forget that there was this man named Jesus Christ who gave us a New Covenant. We don't have to live in Leviticus (Old Testament) world anymore.
