Rand Paul set his campaign on literal fire after being the front runner months earlier. And we know about the Bush loyalties of Ted Cruz. AJ was a devout Rand Paul supporter until the path to the nomination closed.
Rand Paul was still a viable candidate when Jones endorsed Trump. Nobody had even voted yet. Worse Jones engaged in his own version of a media blackout on Rand. I saw the clip (wish I had bookmarked it), where Jones, after slobbering over Trump's debate performance, asked one of his staff what he thought of the debate. The staff member said "I liked Rand Paul." Jones was like "Okay. But do you want Marco Rubio or Bernie Sanders?" Holy false choice fallacy Batman!
Plus Jones wigged out on Rand for endorsing Mitt Romney even after Ron had suspended active campaigning, yet he flipped for Trump before a single vote was cast. I get it. Trump was gaining momentum and Trump was willing to go much further down conspiracy theory ville than even Ron let alone Rand. And Rand was staying of the AJ show. That said, Jones threw his weight behind Trump when there were other choices.
And no.
We do not know about the Bush loyalties of Ted Cruz. I think you are making that up. I do know about the Trump loyalties to Barack Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Rahm Emanuel and others. That's documented through donations (why donate to Rahm Emanuel of all people), phone calls (Bill called Trump and asked him to get involved with GOP politics), and now policy positions "Obama has deported tremendous numbers of people. .... I'm going to do the same thing."
Early on before endorsing Donald Trump, Alex Jones floated the "conspiracy theory" that Trump was only joining the race to trash conservatives and help Hillary Clinton get elected. I think AJ got that conspiracy theory right the first time.
