The 8 White Identities - from White Supremacist to White Abolitionist

Once a white person gets to stage 8, they must confess to being "color blind" with respect to races. Logically, they cannot fit the definition given without doing so.

But then, when they do that, they will immediately be reminded that such color blindness is actually impossible and is a hallmark of their white privilege, at which point they will be shuffled back down to one of the lower stages, ad infinitum, like a social identity Sisyphus.

It's nonsensical by design. So long as this metric leaves you feeling uneasy and guilty, it's working.

This really isnt that different than accepting "their version of science" where there is 79,243 different genders either. The KEY POINT is that you BLINDLY ACCEPT ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU. Oh and for the record, the moon is made of Swiss, saying anything that challenges the TYPE OF CHEESE that the moon is made out of is RACIST HORSE SHIT.

If they say that "White Abolitionist" isn't really about race, just the concept of "whiteness". Then I will say, I am a "White Supremacist", but it isn't about race... just the concept of "whiteness".

Whiteness is great in both concept and race

What fresh hell is this?

As near as I can make out, either alcoholism/addiction is "white supremacy", or alcoholism/addiction counseling is.

Or maybe it's both.

To be honest, I just don't have the stomach to slog though enough of this sludge in order to figure it out.

There's nothing in the definition of "White Abolitionist" that requires "color-blindness" - just the opposite, in fact.

White Abolitionism, as defined, requires conscious awareness of "whiteness" so that it can be "dismantled" (i.e., destroyed).

The Woke explicitly reject color-blindness and would categorize it as symptomatic of level(s) 1, 2, 3 and/or 4.

Color-blindness is characteristic of "equality" (as in, for example, "equality under the law"), for which the Woke also have no use.

Instead, they fetishize "equity" which requires awareness of color so that racialized inequities (which they say are systemic and always favor "whiteness") can be eliminated.

IOW: The Woke are driven by race-obsessed bigotry. They have no truck with color-blindness (or any other form of racial neutrality).

[...] The Woke categorically and explicitly reject color-blindness, period (and not just color-blindness as practiced by white people).

The Woke do not seek the "cessation of categorizing people in racial categories" - because (among other things) such color-blindness would "erase" their "lived experience."

[IOW:] The Woke are thoroughgoingly racialist bigots [...]

[C]olor-blindness is a sin to be purged altogether, not a virtue from which the impurity of "whiteness" is to be cleansed.

If you think people shouldn't be judged by the color of their skin, but as individuals, you're racist. And if you think Pfizer and the government, or Facebook and the government shouldn't be in bed together, you're fascist.

It isn't complicated. Ignorance, hypocrisy and projection never are.

Here is how I see whites...

ENGLISH
IRISH
FRENCH
DUTCH
GERMAN
SWEDISH
POLISH
RUSSIAN
(Every other European and Asian country i missed)

Before this type of lumping together, like two centuries ago, we would have identified ourselves by the TOWNS we lived in, not even by country.

Standard Group Think Psychology.

I do the same but apply a little intersection. The Boston Irish guy ain't the same as an Appalachian Irish guy.

Posted something similar a while back...

<snip> ...I honestly never even considered myself "a white person" growing up (I'll acknowledge the "white" skin tone) -- I identified as a German-Irish kid. The kid down the street was Italian. The other kid down the street was Vietnamese. And so on...
