I would love for people to do this for all 50 states. So far, it has only been done for 1 state, NH
Senators ranked in order of how pro-liberty they are:
1. James Forsythe (R District 4 Strafford) (Endorsed Ron Paul) A+
2. Raymond White (R District 9 Bedford) (Endorsed Ron Paul) A
3. Fenton Groen (R District 6 Rochester) A-
3. Andy Sanborn (R District 7 Henniker) (Endorsed Ron Paul) A-
5. Tom DeBlois (R District 18 Manchester) B+
5. Chuck Morse (R District 22 Salem) B+
7. Jim Rausch (R District 19 Derry) B-
7. Russell Prescott (R District 23 Kingston) B-
7. Peter Bragdon (R District 11 Milford) B-
7. Jim Luther (R District 12 Hollis) B-
7. Gary Lambert (R District 13 Nashua) B-
7. Sharon Carson (R District 14 Londonderry) B-
7. David Boutin (R District 16 Hooksett) B-
7. John Barnes (R District 17 Raymond) B-
7. John Gallus (R District 1 Berlin) B-
7. Jeanie Forrester (R District 2 Meredith) B-
7. Jeb Bradley (R District 3 Wolfeboro) B-
18. Nancy Stiles (R District 24 Hampton) C
19. Bob Odell (R District 8 Lempster) C-
20. Lou D’Allesandro (D District 20 Manchester) D-
20. Sylvia Larsen (D District 15 Concord) D-
20. Matthew Houde (D District 5 Plainfield) D-
20. Amanda Merrill (D District 21 Durham) D-
20. Molly Kelly (D District 10 Keene) D-
I looked at 3 factors to come up with a final rating.
The New Hampshire Liberty Alliance 2011-2012 session average rating = 75% of the final rating. The NHLA covered a lot of bills in it’s ratings.
The Americans For Prosperity Foundation New Hampshire Senate Score Card for the 2011-2012 legislative session = 25% of the final rating. The AFP covered only a few bills in it’s rating.
If a New Hampshire Senator endorsed Ron Paul, he received a slight bonus in the final score. There is no need to explain why these Senators received a slight bonus.
