NH primary results night...

I posted this as a reply but made a thread for you guys. I am thrilled that I could be a part of this revolution. I wanted you guys to know that even if I am the last person standing once this campaign is over I shall keep spreading the message and protecting it with my life. For it is the truth. Sadly I have some comments I want to share regarding the fiasco that happened tonight and that shall continue in the future:

Some may blame the HQ, others the media, some would question the vote count and the voting machines. My take on all this is that the people of America are in politically correct words "not smart". Yes, you have every right to disagree and say troll and what not but please hear me through.

We should have a poll about our education , income, and if we have traveled the world. I betcha the average Paulite would have an exposure to the world in some form or another. Why is this important?

ask an average American who Brittany Spears , Paris Hilton or Michael Vick is. They will get all excited and woozy. Ask them about Ron Paul they say Rupaul who?. Forget Ron ask them what is going on in the world today and they wont be able to articulate a wee bit. Yes I do apologize that I might be generalizing but I am talking about the average Joe.

American's live in a self made cocoon and the establishment uses this. They provide them entertainment like NFL, NBA and Hollywood to take their minds off their two jobs and growing debt. They feel at ease knowing that when the NFL season ends they have the NBA and when that is over the MLB. They feel comfortable knowing how "stars" like Brittany who "have it all" can screw their lives as well.

While keeping their minds off all the worries, they are instilled with this fear that they are not safe. An Orwellian enemy needs to be present so that they need a feel to be protected (there comes the role of government). The establishment capitalizes on creating this fear of the unknown eg "communism" during the cold war and "Islamo facism" now. I have roamed the streets of certain cities in the Middle East at night which dare say I would never step out on to had I watched the gun wielding guys on FOX news (played by the hour). I even cracked a couple of Fox news jokes with some business associates in Asia. They would give me a derisive smile and say "so you guys really believe all they say in that?". Most (again a generalization) Americans haven't even met a Muslim yet have already seen the gun wielding guys on Fox News and have made up their minds saying "bad people bomb them", A trip to Europe or an Asian country and you would find the people are more attuned to whats happening in the world. The people of Spain, Australia and Britain have changed their govt and gotten out of Iraq. Look at the people around the world following Ron Paul. Now imagine an American hooting for a guy in a Scandinavian country.

Sadly like all empires/colonialists our arrogance is at a sky high. We cannot think of our country as somehow being in trouble or being "bad"( remember the "good vs evil"). The few that know are in denial while the rest of the hierarchy is so filled with greed that they would care less.

In a time like this when I was getting desperate and hopeless seeing the attitude of my fellow country men I heard a guy speak. His name was Ron Paul.

The purpose of all this is to tell you that I have come to an assessment. America does not deserve a guy like Ron Paul. He is an angel. A guy with such a pure heart that it hurts. For thirty years he has been the sole voice against the status quo. He has to deal with so much of the slandering even after our support, imagine what it would have been like saying all this when he knew none of us were behind him then. What it would be like when he would be the sole vote saying "no" in congress and trying to justify it while the rest made fun of him. It just breaks my heart. The other day I was so excited to watch the ABC debates but when I saw what the rest of the GOP'ers were doing to him I was literally crying. The last time I cried was yrs ago when I lost someone. My friends would laugh if they heard from someone they saw me cry. Because I am a cynical non emotional ass. But I couldn't stand the fact that the doctor was being ridiculed for speaking the truth. Not just ridiculed but snickering and playground bullying. It was like watching Noah tell his son "please there is still time. The rain has just begun but the flood is yet to come . Heed my advice and jump into the boat." But his son ridiculed him by saying I shall climb the highest mountain and shall be safe. Everyone knows what happened next. I had to switch the tv off. Couldn't take it.

Tonight as I see the poll numbers of Hillary and Mccaine climb in a state where I thought I might one day decide to live. I must reiterate America does not deserve a man like Ron Paul. It reminded me of the stephanopolous interview where the doctor asked him if he was willing to bet his every cent and dime that he would not be elected. The answer as you know is history. sigh

Some day when the good doctor is retired and spending time reading at home with his grandchildren, I will drop by with my child(who I hope to have in the future). I will tell him to say hi to the guy who I had proudly taught him about. To say thank you for his services to America and for trying to save his future.

What I do not want my child to ask me is if had tried my very best to get him to the office, so that he would not be in the very situation he talked about.

In the end irrespective of what my fellow Americans have become ignorant, arrogant or whatever, I am just glad to know that there are a few still who believe in the message. They make me proud to be an American...and that is yall the Ron Paul Supporters.....

Thankyou....

p.s please stay firm to the message of Ron Paul . he has had to endure so much ridiculing over the 30 years to finally find his true patriots. Please imagine how it would break the old mans heart to read some of the posts in this forum. He could have gone back to his grandchildren and lived peacefully spending his days in retirement. But he chose us. He chose to put his character at stake with all the smear regarding MLK(sickening) and racist false comments. The least we can do is see it through.

It's true. You look at American "News" Stations and all they report is that the neighbors cat had to be rescued, and that goes on 3 hours a day. Weather? Most newscasts around the world take 45 seconds to report the Weather.

Americans are desensitized to touch any of the important subjects.

I think that America is facing a bigger challenge nowadays, because the World's perception is truly changing. We are becoming the Evil Empire and that my friends is the worst thing that can happen, because It will be a US vs. THEM battle.

I feel your pain and your message was just as important then as it is now. There are many that don't get the fact that this movement benefits none from skepticism or negativity. Thanks.

yes that is exactly the feel I get from travel oversees....I wonder when the average american will wake up....now that we have tried our best....I wish more people would read the thread...and stop posting BS about the way things were handled

and yes thanks for all the pm's appreciate your support....keep your chin up and think about the doc...and keeping the message alive...

Yup, you're completely right. I guess I should consider myself lucky I have a plane ticket to leave this country once and for all in five weeks, and a wonderful, intelligent, beautiful woman to go live with. :)

I feel sorry for all of the good people in this country that will suffer and did not deserve what others brought for them. I also hope that things don't fall too fast here so that the rest of the world has time to adjust to the absence of America's presence, but the impression I've gathered is that the rest of the world has seen this coming and have been preparing for it. Anyone's insight on that?

One way or another, like RP said, voluntarily or forced by an economic crisis, America will stop intervening in all of these world affairs, and I think the most important thing is that this happens. I just hoped America wouldn't suffer as a result, but we all know what happened last night.

All that had been said here is so true.

Anytime I am able to fully explain all this to people I know, they agree with me and become a RP supporter.

The frusterating part is that people REALLY DONT CARE. For god sakes they just DONT CARE.

I do pledge from here on out to always seek and support in every way those politicians and policies that support the message of Ron Paul

yes sometimes I think I go overboard in convincing people....
but then I have had people throw away slimjims in front of me....gosh they could probably turn the corner and throw them out of my sight...it really hurts....
but then I see the economy, switch on the tv and realize that the american people are being fed like an addict his daily dose...I feel my duty to inform...but when I hit brick walls al i can do is bang my head....so basically
I feel ya bro

american empire, would Ron Paul appreciate the despair you're feeling?

I'm sorry if I sound like I'm turning RP into some kind of a religion (WWRPD), but look at him. If he dispaired, he wouldn't last a week in Congress. But he was there for 30 years and will continue to be there if this election doesn't go as planned (which it will ).

If the average Joe doesn't care, may be it's because it doesn't hit them close home. Iraq? What's that? Where is that, anyway? Same with a dollar and all that nerdy economics talk. What we need to do to make people care is become public figures and local heroes of sorts. I am not saying run into the burning building or whatever, but just advertise yourself as this local establishment.

Then, next time you talk about liberty and what not, they will listen. Because it's not some stranger talking about gold standard and Letter of Marque and reprisal anymore. It's you. THE MAN. THE LEGEND. THAT GUY WHO (insert something heroic or simply cool that everyone knows you did). Nomsang?

I am hearing a lot of negativity and a lot of "oh well, it was fun while it lasted". Guys, don't you understantd. This is not supposed to be over. This is supposed to continue years and years after people forgot and no longer give a shit about that 2008 election. This is what will prove those Stepanoupolis and OReilly people wrong. We are not fringe. We are not a fad. We are a new breed of citizenry. We vote. We read up on issues. We don't nod and agree with everything Mr. TV told us. We will question shit.

So stop with this whole farewell stuff. If there ever was the time to help RP, now is the time. Just imagine if he is one hair away from voctory and still lost because whoever was it that was supposed to give that hair, threw up their hands and said meh, we're too stupid for Ron Paul.

I am so tired of people making excuses, actually making excuses, after hearing what he wants to do and agreeing with him, not to vote for him. I want to be nothing, nothing like those do nothing whiny pussies, who will belly ache all day long about bad this or that and won't lift their ass to do anything.

Is Ron Paul this kind of a person?
Are you, reader of this, that kind of person?

Dude, I'm sorry, I read about 70% of it. The p.s. made it clear where you stand. My point though, doesn't change. Become someone big in your neck of the woods, whereever that is.

more like joining the navy and getting shot down.....:)

but yeah seriously I get your point....being a doc isnt as apealing to the "american joe" as being a "war hero" or a pastor.....so I guess me being a doc might be a hindrance to getting votes...

no problem sir....I just wrote this to counter the negative posts....so we are in the same boat...no need to apologize for defending freedom....

Just read this today, the day after Super Tuesday. I'm in CA and I am outraged at the "results". I agree with you on everything you say about Americans not being well rounded, worldly, well-traveled. I was in Europe last summer and everyone had a bad opinion of Americans. They said American tourists would put on Canadian buttons to "disguise" themselves lol. I stopped watching Fox news long before I knew who the heck Ron Paul was. I watch CNN instead but now I have no clue where I should be getting my news from. I'm thinking Al Jazeera even (no joke). I can't STAND reality shows and am dumbfounded by why they are so popular. I'm glad I'm not one of the sheep.

When I was at the orange county registrars office yesterday watching the ballot count, I felt like Neo before he met Morpheus. I just KNEW something was not right and did not feel comfortable at all, but I just could not point my finger on it. I now know what to look for and what to ask, and if there is another chance you can bet I'm going to bring with me a video camera with high zoom and probably a second person to also film. Never gonna let my guards down again.

Al Jazeera is actually one of the best, most unbiased news organizations in the world. They have a substantial English section. You should seriously consider using it. The BBC is also fairly good, though not perfect, but then again nothing is.
