Does anybody have a count on the number of delegates Ron has up to now in Texas?

Ah, Dr. Bailey for Wallace in North Carolina in '68.

and John Hospers (June 9, 1918 – June 12, 2011)[SUP][1][/SUP] was an American philosopher. In 1972 he was the first presidential candidate of the Libertarian Party, and the only minor party candidate to receive an electoral vote in the 1972 U.S. Presidential election.[SUP][2][/SUP]
2^ Reason, "John Hospers, RIP," by Jesse Walker (June 13th, 2011 - retrieved on June 14th, 2011).

Saw an interview with one of the alternate delegates to Tampa. He stated he will not give us the totals to protect the delegates to the national convention. He sounded very positive about the outcome of delegates though.

Ugh. We need secret hand signals like the freemasons :p.

Quick convention update...

My CD had a great caucus this morning; we were able to put together a nice coalition with some other factions to send a really good unity slate to Tampa. We also laid a good foundation for cooperation and learned that there is actually tremendous support for most of our liberty issues.

Friendships were made and strengthened and I am very optimistic about the future of RPT. The winds of liberty were definitely blowing here today.

I understand the names of the delegates were announced but are delegates not suppose to share the results in terms of RP delegates of individual CD's? because for other states there almost always is people reporting the CD delegate results as they occur. In arkansas today, recently michigan, washington. but for texas twitter is mostly silent. And out of the 6k delegates there had to at least be 1,500 for Ron Paul I would presume. I guess wait to see if people do write-ups.

Without giving my CD number, all three delegates from my CD are known RP supporters. Plus one of us got an at-large slot.

I take it that things went rather well. I think Tampa will be interesting to watch, and hopefully there are enough RP delegates and soft allies to ensure that the convention won't just be the party establishment stroking itself on the back.

No kidding about the stroking comment. Especially if Santorum is going to be there.

Great convention. The RPT has come a LONGGGG way in the last four years. We had a brilliant convention chair, fair chairs in my SD & CD caucuses, fair committees and a lot of collaboration between all factions. It feels like even run-of-the-mill old fogies are inspired to demand small gov. and constitutional values.

There was some disruption from time to time, but it was more from general tea-partiness than Ron Paul activists. We came across as respectful but firm.

The national delegate selection seemed quite favorable and would certainly make an impact in a brokered national convention.

I'm getting the sense for the first time in a long time that there's something special about Texas.

Bump. Sounds like some good news out of TX.

Can someone updated the original post with delegate counts? How many we have vs how many romney got. I'm having a hard time making sense of the different numbers in the thread posts.
