Not to defend Musk but really? Burning a spliff triggers an exodus and stock crash but burning billions of investor dollars is a-ok? Anything but the herb, man! Naaaa, not buying it. Cover story for rats jumping a sinking ship that probably is close to BK. The kicker would be if Elon is shorting his own stock through some shell company.

(Note to Elon, you should have done a line of blow instead. That's perfectly fine, even expected, among executives and Wall St.)

Such blatant theft and fraud by anyone not part of the deep state club would have been thrown under the jail already.


eta: And it's gone. Lawsuit settled the next day for $20 million, chump change compared to how many people were ripped off by Musk's tweets.
