Goffstown, New Hampshire (CNN)Ted Cruz isn't in Iowa anymore.

Gone Wednesday morning was the vow to investigate Planned Parenthood. In was the punch line about the White House tapping your cell phone.
The Texas senator, who barnstormed Iowa with a preacher's pitch that carried him to victory Monday, unveiled a new stump speech here that signaled a new profile he will try to build as a government-fearing, gun-hugging outsider who will protect New Hampshire from the evils of Washington.
Making things easier Wednesday: Rand Paul quit the race.
Winning libertarian voters has been a centerpiece of the New Hampshire strategy for Cruz, who has flirted with the GOP's libertarian views on foreign policy. Cruz has argued that he is the natural inheritor of the modern libertarian movement built by Ron Paul, which was especially resonant here in New Hampshire, where the elder Paul won second place four years ago. And now, with his son's decision to drop out, Cruz's best path to a strong showing in the bunched GOP field here could be to dominate -- no longer split -- that group of Republicans......................

Any New Hampshire Libertarians here buying Canada Cruz as a suitable Rand Paul replacement?

What would you all think if another candidate eventually was convinced that liberty ideals are right? Would you accept that he changed his mind?

Probably not. Especially not where Cruz is concerned. Everything he says sounds, smells, and looks like bullshit. Moreover, I wouldn't trust someone who is able to change their mind so drastically overnight to not so drastically change their mind again.

????????

imo, you can't be a goddamn warmonger and pro-liberty. f#ck off Ted, the libertarian candidate will get my vote (or i'll write-in Ron Paul if it's a Barr type).

I really want the true libertarians in NH to show up and make Cruz really uncomfortable. To the point that he says something.

It doesn't matter because Ted Cruz isn't a natural born citizen so he's unfit to be commander in chief

He didn't bother on voting to audit the Fed. He is a Glenn Beck, Rick Santorum libertarian.

Not in Ted Cruz's case, nor in the cases of anybody running right now. It's possible that we get some Walter Jones types down the road, but I put more stock in a gradual evolution of one's position rather than an overnight switch during a campaign. Allowing oneself to be willfully deceived is not a hallmark of liberty ideals anyway.

Like Trump, Cruz will say anything to anybody he thinks they want to hear in order to be elected.

Are you joking?

You're joking right?

You're joking, right?

Right?
