It's on.

Three of the Tea Party's biggest stars, Sarah Palin and Sens. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are joining in a national "Liberty Rally" to back conservatives running in key Senate races.

Palin's political action committee, SarahPAC, today said that the trio will kick off the rally in Oklahoma where former House Speaker T.W. Shannon is running for the seat being vacated by Sen. Tom Coburn.

"Shannon is the constitutional conservative candidate," cheered SarahPAC's email to supporters. That rally takes place today.

Cruz, Palin, and Lee are also planning to be in Nebraska on Friday to help Senate candidate Ben Sasse. On Sunday, Palin will travel to Iowa to host a "Heels On, Gloves Off" rally for Senate candidate Joni Ernst.

Tim Crawford, the treasurer of SarahPAC, wrote, "Republicans have a chance to send conservatives to Washington D.C. who don't just talk the talk, but walk the walk when it comes to standing up for conservative values. If you're in the Oklahoma, Nebraska, or Iowa area, we hope you'll come out to join Governor Palin for one of these great events."

Sasse sucks and Shannon is not the best candidate in the race (Brogdon is).

You don't become Speaker Of The House of Oklahoma without cutting deals with the special interests. Something doesn't rub me right with Shannon.

Geeze, So Ben Sasse sucks so which one in the race is better candidate? Its like National review and Paul Ryan supports Osborne and Palin supports Sasse and going by who supports whom, I really cant tell who to vote for.

Has anyone even tried to get information about Brogdon to Palin and Lee? Or, is it just much more fun to bitch about who they are supporting?

He's already owned by AIPAC (see other thread about Freedomworks endorsement of Shannon). Randy Brogdon is the Liberty candidate in that race. There are certain shill naysayers showing up here a week before the primaries to tell you to give up on Liberty candidate's campaigns and that all is lost. Ignore them. They're not here to help our candidates.

Thanks for the PM, but the my post above is about Nebraska senate primaries not Oklahoma. We seem to also have a Sasse running in our primary :)

Let's run the numbers here.

Good endorsements:
- Help me out here Palin fans.

Eh, endorsements:
- Ben Sasse (No 100% candidates, he may be the best option).

Bad endorsements:
- T.W. Shannon (Brogdon is far better).
- Taylor Griffin (establishment candidate running against Walter Jones).

I thought Ryan endorsed Sasse.

McCain and Graham may have endorsed Osborn as part of high flying comradery. I think Graham was an Air Force Lawyer. It doesn't mean that he will vote with them. Probably will be the same as Sasse on FP.

Osborn immediately refused to agree to send NATO troops to hold back Russia: "readiness is at an all-time low," he argued, with troops exhausted from fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, and in other foreign outposts.

McCain endorsed Deb Fischer.

Maybe she can get credit for not picking the worst candidate in GA.

Why does someone need to be a "Palin fan" to know she endorsed Rand Paul?

All I am suggesting is that it doesn't cost us anything to at least attempt to get the information to them about Brogdon.

I'm assuming you mean this year. Benacquisto (Clawson's better), Ernst (Whitaker's better), Handel (Broun's better) would be bad endorsements too.

Her good endorsement would be Mississippi's Chris McDaniel and Katrina Pierson in Texas.
