Ted Cruz: Rand Paul Can't Win Because of Ron Paul

I swear that Jonathan Martin's sole purpose on this planet is to try to sow discord within the Republican party.

No solid quotes, just a lot of conjecture. Seems to be an attempt by the NYTs to pit the tea party supporters against each other and allow someone like Christy to slip in. The NYTs wants there to be a political bloodbath that has no winners in the tea party.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Ron, father of the Tea Party, ran for Cornyn's senate seat from Texas and won? :D

Unless times is going name names, this is all crap. Anyone can write a divisive article with anonymous "sources".

I agree, no direct quotes or solid statements from any known source.

I think I'll wait to hear from the horses concerned instead of the commentators that have bets on other horses.

Pretty ripe of Cruz, considering Ron/Rand were big part of his success in 2012.

The Pauls and Palin endorsed him in early May... he took off: http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/2012-texas-senate-republican-primary
If you really support Rand you won't keep pushing this. If you make it a really bitter fight between the two, the supporters of the two candidates will do anything but support the candidate that pulls ahead and that WILL assure a Christy victory.

Yup, just divide and conquer. That's all.

Rand isn't going to be impolite to Cruz or fall into this trap. There will be no war just because people on RPF don't trust Cruz.
