TED CRUZ COSPONSORS RAND PAUL’S ‘AUDIT THE FED’ BILL

OK, not optimal, but is positive RP publicity better than the freeze-out?

On the positive side, these moves by Cruz will also make Rand more appealing to Cruz voters. If, at some point, Cruz ends up fading, Rand will be in a position to capitalize. I admit that in the near term, it muddies the waters...

Cruz doing this to upstage Paul...he'll manage to get all of the press, Rand will not be mentioned.

The article title gives Rand credit and it leads with that as well. I can live with that. The question is, with 20 co-sponsors, is Rubio one of them?

"Senator Grassley (R-Iowa) co-sponsors Rand's Audit the Fed bill" - he's up for re-election to the Senate ya' know.

Not when Ted Cruz won't even acknowledge that it was Rands Bill he co-sponsored. At the CNBC debate Ted said he co-sponsored Ron Pauls audit the fed bill. Ted Cruz is trying to take attention away from Rand Paul. Cruz supporters won't go to Rand as long as Ted keeps saying he's the only candidate who's in the Senate who stood up to the Washington machine. I've heard Ted throw Rand under the bus at least 2 times now. Once over the NSA, where Cruz said Rand helped the NSA go un-reformed and another over when Cruz called out Paul for not supporting his immigration amendment for the TPA.
Ted Cruz is not here to take on the establishment; he's here to take out Rand Paul.

I am getting so tired of this fraud Cruz stealing all of Rand's positions. I heard him on NPR this morning and he has literally stolen Rand's line about republicans not needing to become 'democrat-lite' word for word - I personally hadn't ever heard that term used until Rand started talking about it. My jaw dropped. He is stealing ALL of his positions, in some cases verbatim. How do we counteract this!? This comes after he stole Rand's line, verbatim, about being able to fill out your tax return on one post card. That came after Cruz claiming he was the first to introduce a budget that cuts $500B in spending (the exact amount Rand's first budget cut). This man is so god damn annoying.

For the record - Yesterday, I saw a clip of Cruz saying he is the ONLY candidate that has never supported amnesty. He says every other candidate has supported amnesty at one time or another. WTF?

I've been following Rand since his dad's campaign and I have NEVER heard him support amnesty or any new path to citizenship. Yet for a few years now, there have been internet trolls spreading a rumor about him being for amnesty, and there has even been a couple of stories with misleading headlines which absolutely imply that he does support amnesty. A number of these trolls have referred to something at numbersUSA that supposedly "proves" this? I now have to wonder if these were Cruz's people all along.

(by the way, Cruz just released his "immigration plan" http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/11/13/ted-cruz-lays-immigration-plan )

In 2013 Cruz and Paul had nearly identical plans. The hard hard right objected to no deportations. They bitched and moaned at Rand forever on this aspect of his plan. You have to define amnesty to be able to discern who is "guilty". Cruz went silent on his plan about the time that Rand was taking so much heat. But he did float an amendment to the Gang of 8 bill that supports the accusation of "amnesty" as defined by the hard hard right (now most Trump supporters). No deportation = amnesty to these people.
in reading the article, Cruz conveniently skips over the illegals that are here now. Hmmmmm...

I saw another video where Cruz said he was the only one who stood up to planned-parenthood; he said he was the only one running for President who has a track-record of standing up to Washington.

This is a good thing. I have nothing negative to say about Cruz right now.

Cruz is pumping up his candidacy. Just like any other candidate. Remember when Trump claimed he was the only one that opposed the Iraq war and Rand corrected him during a debate? So that's to be expected.

Even though Cruz is a desperate POS in the recent months it isn't a bad thing for the liberty movement that we are being courted on some of our core issues.

In the Ron Paul days, nobody was trying to audit the FED in the Senate now a quarter and last time almost half of the senate cosponsored thanks to Rand working with others and building coalitions.

Its a team effort and none of it would have happened without electing the few true liberty candidates that we have.

Ask yourselves this, was endorsing Mitch worth having him on record as a cosponsor and helping Rand get it SKIPPED passed the senate banking committee and onto the floor for a vote, ON DEMAND?

Cruz is still uber praline tho.
