Teamspeak voice chat is up and running!!!!!!

My email sent to CFL inquiring about having a representative speak at Teamspeak..

Thanks for the reply. I and several others have many questions and suggestions, I was thinking at first of calling and talking about them but I don't have long distance.

Which gave me a better idea. At ronpaulforums.com, some of our members are beginning to download and use the software Teamspeak. Tonight in the chat I suggested having a representative from CFL come in to answer some of our questions and take suggestions. We thought ahead of the possibility of high numbers coming to the chat and being rude, talking all at one, etc. But a fellow Paul'er informed us he was familiar with the software and showed us that this problem can be taken care of with the "granting voice rights" feature to those of us who want to ask a question.

We believe this would be a crucial first step to bolstering this movement to the levels we need to be at to meet the situation we're in. Thanks for reading and please do consider.

Thanks

-Nate

Makes me think of the people interviewing Ron Paul and commenting about how many positive e-mails they'd receive for having him on the show. :)

But that would be a good idea.

How many people can be in the TeamSpeak "room" at the same time?

Is there any service that is open to the point where open source clients can easily be made? I run linux, but on a PPC Mac, and the teamspeak linux client is binary only for x86. :'(

Ventrilo > Teamspeak.

Its much more streamlined, less bloatware and uses close to no resources. cost less to host, way superior IMO

Well, I tried to figure this out and can't. Each time I try to do anything with the program as instructed in the OP, it says (literally) "ERROR".

no dice. I have a mac os 10. I downloaded teamspeex. I opened he app and put in the IP and password. It brought me to a lobby, but nothing more...I am sure I missed something:o
