Team Rand Mocks RPF Members Who Grossly Exaggerated Tales of His Demise

Yes, there is a 50/50 chance this article is fake.

If its real, OP should be updated with correct link. Current link goes to some 'trololololol video'. I assume he copy/pasted the wrong URL.

It obviously can't be real. Rand wouldn't be cranking up "Turn It Down For What" to party to, everyone knows his musical selection would be Permanent Waves.

Ok, this thread started out cute, but then it got really disturbing when some members think it sounds legit and are wondering why the link doesn't work.

Yea, sounds totally legit:

Paul and his campaign celebrated news of his inclusion in the CNN main debate with 40s, doobies and 'Turn It Down For What' playing on endless repeat at ear splitting levels. Rand's father, former Texas congressman, Ron Paul, could be seen dancing amongst the staff in a scene that could only be described as 'crackin'.

Haha...RPFs isn't that important to be in the national news.

I dunno. RPF is pretty important. We have the power to make -- or break -- campaigns depending on how nice we are to other candidates.

I believe we also played a key role in Romney's loss in the general election.

Ok, so it isn't ok to disparage Rand on the Rand forum but it's ok to mock RPF members in the Rand forum?

Not that it's a great crime, but if the reason to not attack Rand is because it turns off supporters visiting the Rand Forujm, don't you think threads that highlight that members of this forum (by name no less) are possibly anti-Rand has the same effect?

Just an observation.

Wizard, it was a joke. This is all. Au and DS are open game as they have been banned for for obvious reasons. Maybe adding ka to the list was a low blow, but the intention wasn't to be an ass.

I think this is carlton's RPF version of that old Rickrolling trick.

Yep, I tried real hard to be obvious.

I doubt Rand would be talking about the forum let alone releasing name; however, I think there are a lot of trolls on this site sending out negative messages.

we have perma shills here. just post something positive about the Constitution or the founding fathers, the federation etc.
and they will come out of the woodwork. like a pack of hyenas.

happens every time. ;)

That may be so, but unless a better candidate appears from the mists, which isn't going to happen, I am still giving mine to Rand Paul... that is, if I decide to even bother this time.

I have never played the "vote for the guy most likely to win" strategy. It is a loser even when you "win".

The quote in the OP reads like the work of a sixth-grader and dullard. It is nothing to take seriously. Whence did it issue?
