Some people just have such a strong urge to kiss their ass, I honestly don't understand it.

I'm starting to understand. They control whether you are a Marco Rubio or a James Trafficant. Who would refuse to kiss their ass if they were offered a congressional seat out of it?

For the record, I didn't see anyone here support Marco Rubio. Plus, he doesn't represent the Tea Party.

Quoted for truth.

But, it sure does explain why the MSM is pushing him big time. They tout the success of the Tea Party on one hand and push Rubio at us for a potential presidential candidate with the other.

No , I think Meek or Crist would be much worse .

Oh over all? Time would tell. On this particular issue, though, I'm not sure Meek or Crist would have been "much" worse. It's still a tossup. People are debating this as if there were a viable alternative. It's just sad.

*sigh*

Well, this election turned out to be a gyp.

The future does not look bright, unfortunately. I'm thinking of moving to Siberia and starting my own libertarian utopia, just in case things don't work out in 2012.

Any volunteers?

I'm sure "Tea Party" favorite Christine O'Donnell is jealous of Rubio of that trip to Israel even more than his election victory.

Christine O'Donnell - Israel worshipper....
...we can do more because we need Israel. We need to be a friend to Israel and we need to help her be strong once again because when Iran says that, We want to wipe out the West, they mean us. They mean America. And they mean Israel. So we've got a united goal there to be strong again.

When I hear a U.S. politician use the pronoun "she" or "her" in loving tones to describe Israel...it raises the hair on the back of my neck.

you're paying for the ticket right?

I tend not to trust Tea Partiers who receive too much positive attention from the likes of drudge and fox.

Yup. It's not like money will matter anymore. That would be part of my old life. I will change my name to something along the lines of Ronaldo Paulson and gallop off into the sunset to start anew.

So after you win your first election (for the people) where is the first place you go?

If you are Marco Rubin, the winner of the Florida house race, you immediately report to Israel...specifically Tel Aviv (to thank your constituency).

This is no surprise. He told everyone straight up that he is an Israel Firster a long time ago.

Well, the Tea Party sure as hell ain't my party, but I know it was co-opted early on. Chances are that this Rubin fella is a traitor, so he'll fit in quite well in Congress.

Seriously... You've just won a super-hard race against the establishment's pick (Crist) and have the support of those who are interested in shrinking the size of government, lowering spending and taxes and so on... and your first decision is to go to... Israel?

It's like a weird love affair that many US politicians have with this country...

Rubio is the latest product of the Money Masters that rule this nation.

That Manchurian Candidate is tailored to their commands and is NOT a Tea Party candidate. He's nothing but the establishment's next generation of replacements.

This is roughly equivalent, in my mind, to Thomas Jefferson drafting the Declaration of Independence, then immediately hopping on a ship to Great Britain to pacify and reassure King George that he's still our BFF. Which is it, Rubio? Are you serving us, or are you serving Israel, because you can't do both.

BuddyR, come now. He is a Tea Party candidate elect in' he?
