Tea Party Facebook group blocking Ron Paul supporters

Sounds like that the Tea Party Facebook is owned by fox news and there fore they are fraud, but that is right? they are neo cons if they want to vote for those war monger idiots, like Palin etc.

And Since when did Palin became the tea party figure?

She kept showing up to Tea Party rallies and speaking. I honestly didn't even know people liked her for a long time. Still don't understand why. I guess she discovered fiscal conservatism around September of 2007 (if you understand the reference, you win the internet).

@raider4paul Pailn has openly called for a war with Russia on the news, i guess these idiots on this tea party want her so bad eh? they want a war with russia huh?
thats pretty sick.

Why don't we make a rival tea party Facebook page? We have the numbers to overshadow them. They say they put a lot of work into building that page up to what it is today. Let's make sure that was all in vain.

I honestly think you all should go read that page again. I see absolutely nothing that he said that means he is a neocon. Nothing. Ron Paul does not own the tea party movement. No one does. The tea party is made up of fed up individuals. If we had wanted to, we could have been a much bigger influence, but as I recall, there was more interest in calling them names, rather than getting involved. Heck, we could have started our own tea party group and invited all kinds of speakers; people ranging from Thomas Woods to Jim DeMint and everything in between. Quite a few seeds might have been planted. But, we didn't.

We do not own liberty.

Now, we can act like adults and go meet other people who share a lot of common beliefs with us, or we can just continue to call them names. Which do you think is more conducive to helping Ron Paul get elected?

Why mark him as an enemy?

Do you realize we do not have the votes to make Ron Paul win? We need MILLIONS of additional votes. Why alienate people who supported RAND PAUL? This is lunacy. Sheesh.

If you looked at the page, it appears to be 1 guy running it like a dictator. Look at the questions he is asking the "likers" via the page: "Ron Paul agreed that US caused 9/11 at the debate. Is that what you think?" This page is obviously in the tank for Perry, and a joke

It's his Facebook page, so yeah, he can run it how he chooses. I didn't see his comment about 9/11, but if he believes that, he is confused and needs to be provided with accurate information, in a non-confrontational manner.

It's always worth trying, right?

The point is that we will not win anyone over to Ron Paul by screaming at them and calling them sheeple if they don't agree with us on everything. Heck, a whole lot of us don't agree on a wide variety of issues. Think about how many people that first became interested in Ron Paul, became interested in him on just one issue. But, as they read more and thought more, over a period of time, they started seeing his argument on those other issues too. You simply cannot rush it and demand that someone agree with you and be successful.

I think that is some of what Rand is doing. For example, he has joined up with DeMint and others on what they have in common. That gives him the opportunity to sway them on other issues. The same is true with the tea partiers.

I don't think that line about Ron Paul starting the tea party goes over too well with tea partiers who weren't at all influenced by him. It's probably not productive to keep repeating it to them. The quote in the OP is pretty much right.

Not in a forceful way, no. But if we can put the idea in their head it might get them to look more seriously at what he stands for. But I do agree that it's not good that people call anyone who doesn't support Ron an idiot, neocon, etc. Politics are not easy to get in to or follow and a lot of tea party-ers are going to vote however Fox News tells them to vote for. There are a lot of votes in that movement.

Of course it doesn't for a bunch of Shawn Hannity loving Neo-Con's, they are too stupid to realize, what they have got themselves into. Which would be fraud, lies and deceit.

Also the part about being influenced, make no sense, Ron Paul is the founding Father, whether they try to ignore that or not. Is this really all that important? Yes it is because they are filthy disgusting deceitful pathetic lying pieces of trash. The Tea Party are Americas gullible idiot Faux News morons, who have no logical thinking ability. These are the good little sheeple, that all msm fixates on, because of the apathy for stupidity.

What is our goal with them? Is it to pick fights or get them to support Ron Paul?

The guy in that FB note says they donated to Rand Paul and BJ Lawson. So they're obviously not too far from being RP supporters already.

Are you winning a lot of people over with that line? If you aren't, you may want to rethink your approach.

LE is right we need to start winning people over, not shoving Ron Paul down their throats.

thats true ItsTime, but the facebook is kinda of a scam and spam, just look in there likes, they all like Fox News figures and Glen Beck?

At what point will you guys come to understand that the so-called "Tea Party" was hijacked? Maybe the giant tour bus with "Tea Party Express" on the side of it would be a good indicator. Or perhaps, that there was a virtual media war between the neo-con, fox backed, tea party take over, and CNN...and they just did a debate with each other in which Ron got 9% of the time. Get real folks, stop worrying so much about the Tea Party facebook page, it isn't that big of a deal. Facebook doesn't determine elections in this country ok? I've always said if Ron loses it'll be b/c we misrepresent his ideas by the way we treat other people who disagree...its clear in the way we treat each other here, and the way this place is moderated, et al.

You guys touting this line need to back the fuck off. The only thing you are helping is convincing the entire public that the candidate you support is a fringe lunatic.

Some of you guys need to drop this bullshit superiority complex you have going, because most of you arn't superior to bag of squirrel shit. Yet somehow, you guys are convinced that the whole fucking public is misled, uninformed, stupid, fat, lazy, illiterate, and incapable of critical thought. Except you of course, you witty little bastards have it all figured out. So what if the entire majority of the republican party won't vote for Ron Paul, "they're all Hannitized Neo-Cons, fuck em!".

Then you go out and insult the supporters of candidates you don't like, all because you think they are stupid? Do you think that kind of behavior is going to curry favor amoungst voters that WE NEED to win the god damn primary?

Great plan dude...

You know the man we support preaches about Blowback. If you go attacking people, however right you may be, they will hate you for it, and by association Ron Paul. Learn from him.
