1) No, that's not generally accepted. Selective enforcement is a hallmark of dictatorships and banana republics.
2) And this guy is guilty of what? "Insurrection"? For asking Pence to do his constitutional duty (from this guy's perspective)? What the fuck kind of crime is that?
