I'm in SC in the Horry County meetup group. Ron Paul has an office opening in Charleston. I'm glad to hear there is strong libertarian and independant support there, but throughout the state I fully expect a real battle for Paul, and its one he must win. If we don't get SC and NH, or SC and Iowa, then we can forget the nomination even if we get both Iowa and NH. Really we will need all three to get the nomination realisticly.
However, Horry county is somewhat looking up for Ron Paul, and the Clemson University area is as well, which will influence SC somewhat. If Charleston can go to Paul too, maybe the combined momentum of these areas can carry the rest over to him. I know people here do not want Romney, and Guiliani can forget SC, he is going to do terrible here. Romney only has a chance because he is the "only other choice to Giuliani" in some people's minds, along with Thompson. I expect in the coming weeks for SC to change to being between Thompson and Paul however, and for Romney to drop to third. I just don't see him standing up against Paul or Thompson here all the way.
I have no clue how Colombia is. It may be looking great for Paul or terrible, I really haven't heard anything about that area. But I know a lot of people here are loving Paul's pro-life stance!
