I'm hearing more about Paul with the PPP out, but there is a lot of talk that if Romney doesn't win early on that someone is going to step forward in order to keep someone like Paul from winning the nomination.

Possibility, Jeb Bush? He just wrote a piece in the WSJ about free markets today, which is strange IMO.

What do you guys think?

Jeb? I don't think the United States is ready for another Bush.

I'm not saying it's going to be Jeb. I'm talking about the general possibility of someone else stepping forward.

They were talking about Jeb on the radio today, plus he just wrote that piece in the WSJ.

No new candidates will emerge this late in the cycle unless they are offered up as a compromise candidate should there be a brokered convention. Truth be told, Netwton, Bachmann, Santorum, Huntsman are not running to win the nomination as they do not have the organization and funding in place to field full slates of delegates in the various states.

They would miss some of the early states, but could make the deadlines for later ones; enough to win the nomination.

This. They wouldn't be running to win, only to spoil Paul and ensure that at least AN establishment tool (Obama) wins

I find it funny that most of talk radio talk about how it's about "We the People" unless it does not fit their agenda. The people are waking up without MSM and talk radio. The brush fires of liberty are catching and will prevail one way or another.
