Take Down the Ron Paul Sign(??)

How far does he live from an Election area? I bet that's what it is about.

This is the only thing I can think of that would give these idiots a leg to stand on. If the sign is close to where he votes, with an acre he should be able to move it far enough away to meet this code.

If not, someone is trying to trample on the First Amendment and I agree that he should add a sign every time they harass him.

Update

My brother had his meeting with the zoning officer today. The zoning officer was very civil about it all and said he was just carrying out his orders. He told my brother to fight it, if he felt strongly enough about it. Someone complained and that's why they called him about his Ron Paul sign. He's going to write a formal letter (thanks to all here for the references) and submit it. In the meantime he's taking it down and putting in his bay window, which you can easily see from the street. He said he's also considering running for town council.
