Hey everyone, as you have all seen, Dr. Paul is really being omitted from any significant exposure where average American can learn and hopefully decide to join the revolution. So what can we do? Easy!!!!!

We have to write/email to various news media that we want to see Dr. Paul font and center. Complaining about it, won't help. Dr. Paul needs you to act and exert our voice. Ron Paul must be heard!!!!!

Below is a list with **ALL** the major news organizations.

I guess a couple simple guidelines. Don't spam any of these addresses, be polite. Remember Ron Paul's message that peace is a stronger message sometimes then being confrontational. Spamming or being totally rude/off the mark, may have the opposite effect and hurt the campaign, so please use common sense. And lets see if we can make a difference:

Why not encourage local media to cover Ron Paul related events? It seems to me a no-brainer when there was the march last month that people would have contacted the media in their area before it happened to let them know but I don't think the Meetups did this.

In Phoenix we have been trying very hard to get local media coverage. They flat out refuse to cover anything we do! We even had a member call and they said "we only cover a candidite when they are in town. So when Ron Paul is at one of your rallies, we'll cover it." Well we all know that is utter BS! They cover the others on a regular basis.
They have had cameras out and filmed us, it just never makes it to the airwaves. So don't blindly assume that the meetup groups are resting on their laurels and not doing their best to get the attention of the media. If you have an effective way to get the media attention, please do share. We could all benefit from it. Watch this Youtube and you'll see them filming us, but it never made it to the tv:

At least they aren't completely ignoring you. That's good.

Can I make a few friendly suggestions?

- Have everyone wear matching shirts (preferably Ron Paul shirts or at least all the same color).

- Have folks work on signs together so that they all look uniform.

- Come up with a message instead of just shouting Ron Paul.

These things will help your group appear more organized.

Also, try this contact: karina.bland@ arizonarepublic.com I'm not certain if she's still there but she seemed to be a decent reporter when I was in contact with her some time ago about other activism issues. Even if she's not there, still try the publication if you haven't. Have someone in your group learn to write a good press release and send releases to all the local media outlets whenever your group is going to hit the streets.

Tips for press release:

-Short, sweet, to the point (generally, less than one page)
-Facts... stick strictly to the facts and try not to show bias or emotion
-Supply good contact information in case they want an interview

Here's a handy site: http://www.newslink.org/

It lists US newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations (and even some in other countries).

Keep up the good work!

Flood the sunday tv shows

Tell them you thought Ron Paul won.

I'm thinking we should start holding rallies outside of their very offices.

Thanks so much for putting up these links. They are good to keep close at hand. Of course there is a bias against what he represents. This is why he is constantly being interrupted, also. We should not allow this to dishearten or disuade in our convictions and efforts.
