Hello my liberty-loving friends
We are Ron Paul-Supporters from Switzerland and we thought if there is any way we can help RP from Switzerland we have to reach out to Americans who can actually vote and donate and have friends and family in the U.S. On Sunday there was an "Expat Expo" - an exhibition for English-speaking persons with lots of Americans who live abroad. We had a table there to promote Ron Paul. We had a Handout with the 12 key facts about RP, his books, information on how to vote and how to donate, his plan to restore America and a special Ron Paul "End the Fed - Red" wine. The democrats abroad also had a table to support Obama.
Some people didn't know him, some have heard about him and some were already Paulians. The perception in general was very good and all the people were impressed that we had a table there to support him. I think we convinced some new people to vote for Ron Paul. Some American-students who study in Switzerland also visited our table and they were stunned that we were there. It was also great for us to see the enthusiasm for Ron Paul that (not only) younger people have.
We also have some new contacts. And that is important to us because we are building a network for liberty-minded people and supporters of the austrian school of economics and we hope to found a libertarian party in Switzerland.
I've heard some critics in this and in other forums about non-Americans like us supporting Ron Paul. We just want to help and if Ron Paul gets elected it would be an inspiration for the whole world ;-)
