I hope there is a special place in hell for the criminals responsible for this child's pain and disfigurement.![]()
HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. - FOX 5 has learned one of the deputies involved in a drug raid that left a toddler seriously injured has resigned from the Habersham County Sheriff's Office.
Jesus, they blew a kids face apart and won't even pay the medical bills to put him back together. Not even saying that would make it right, but damn they did NOTHING. There should be real riots over this, never understand how come the truly tragic stories get swept away, but some thug gets shot and riot for weeks, not saying Mike Brown deserved to die or anything, but on the scale of tragedy, well if Mike Brown is a 10, well then blowing the face off a toddler is a 1000. Anyway, have no idea how a jury found the blowing apart of a toddler justifiable. Insanity.
SWAT Teams, outside of the situation they were intended (Hostage type situations), are a means of terrorizing the public. I would not shed a tear if any member of that SWAT team gets what they deserve.
I think its time that RPF get involved on this one somehow. Whether it's buying a billboard in GA or money-bombing their paypal account. This is the greatest assault on liberty this year.
And if there isn't, we can whip up such a place in my basement right quick.

Already donated 10 bucks, not a ton but something. People shouldn't have to have a money bomb to donate to a kid that was violently attacked for nothing.
Good call. I donated a few bucks too and added the link to my sig.

"....I can’t explain to my kids that the cops are there to help them. They know otherwise, and they’ve been traumatized by it. My kids don’t even feel like I can protect them. When we’re at the mall and see security guards, they’re scared. It breaks my heart.
But I know that we are not the only ones suffering. I watched what happened in Ferguson this summer. It’s a tragedy, but I want the people there to know that the battle they’re fighting, they’re not alone. My family is standing with them and fighting with them. And all across the country, I know we need to get the grenades and the other military equipment out of the cops’ hands. It doesn’t matter how well law enforcement is trained to use military weaponry; it has a lot to do with their views and culture — if there’s a culture of racism, training will not make a difference.
My family is struggling, but we thank everyone for their prayers and their support and we’ll continue to fight until we get justice. This is not a one-person battle, but a community fight. We need to stop the militarization of police."
Another family destroyed thanks to the war on drugs. So sad they learned the truth the worst way possible.

not that it matters much. If the policy doesn't change, this will happen again and again.
The deputy that has resigned was assigned to the drug unit and chose to resign in lieu of termination.
