I think scotus blew it on this one. The ruling serves no practical purpose. It just creates more waste as cases will have to be retried in federal court. I think they should have just ruled that the situation in Oklahoma was settled law.

Conquer or be conquered. Sorry, they lost the land to us under the rules of the time. Only white people are stupid enough to give it back. We are too comfortable and complacent in our wealthy nations, we are completely removed from the struggles of our ancestors so we judge them as we squander and give away everything they fought for. Modern whites will be judged more harshly by history than any of our ancestors whom we now condemn.
 
Not sure if everyone really understands how it works . As far as the fed govt is concerned they define an indian . An Indian is a recognized member of a federally recognized tribe . These are under Dept of Interior , Bureau of Indian affairs . These are about nobody in Tulsa and not even most Indians in the Indian Territory . They have own police and about 9K govt employees if four offices headquartered in DC . These are over the Indians recognized by the feds and no others have authority . This has always been the law . The Bureau of Indian Affairs has existed since the 1820's and prior to that ( It was called Indian Trade ).

You mean white Liberals are stupid enough to give it back because they feel offended for what Euporean settlers to the natives. Only white liberals hate themselves so much then anyone else i know. Destroying historical places like Mount Rushmore would more idiotic.

It feels as if the 2016 election lose of Hillary ruined American Liberal's brains.

They were ruined long before that, it just sent them into war mode, and Donald Trump was naive enough to believe they sincerely wanted cooperation.

Because that's how the principle of "the rules of the time" "might makes right" works.

If it's supposed to be an elucidation of how conquerors end up getting their way, then it's just a pointless tautology.

If it's supposed to be a justification for anything, then it's pretty lame (see the two examples I gave above) and you should find another one.

To the victor go the spoils, if they win they have every right to ensure that their dominion continues. You never saw Bolsheviks willingly ceding power just because it was "the moral thing to do". I have no problem with Native Americans fighting to take it back, but it's stupid just to give it to them. We conquered this land, just like they conquered it from other tribes. It's ours now, and to just let them have it without a fight is naive. Now that's not what this ruling is about, but your post seems to suggest that you'd be ok with that since it was morally wrong of us to conquer them in the first place. Just don't expect me to support that argument unless you also hold them accountable for conquering and slaughtering other Native tribes.

What I mean is that liberal whites will be judged for harshly for their suicidal altruism. Thomas Jefferson is denigrated now, but it will be the left-libertarians, the RINOS, and the anti-racist social justice warriors that will ultimately go down as the biggest fools in all of history for giving up their civilization out of unfounded white guilt.
