It's very encouraging to see lots of people run at the state level for public postions in the GOP we are going to have a lot of delegates in Orange County CA it's inevitable.

I agree our government dropped the ball with 9/11. I agree on your point about the war. However, you are still 110% wrong on the Katrina thing. I think part of the problem there, is your own personal bias blinding you to this fact. I live here in Florida, and have had to deal with a great number of hurricanes myself. In one year we had Frances and Jeane hit us dead on, back to back within weeks of each other. I accepted no help whatsoever from the government. I know, I choose to live here, I have to live with the consequences of living here. I fixed the damage I could out of my own pocket, and got the rest form my insurance. I received nothing from the government. So IMHO, as long as you have a nanny state mentality, even if it is towards your own state, I simply can not support you. You are not a Ron Paul type of Republican, and that is the only kind of Republican I will throw my support behind.

Feelgood: Torchbearer is saying we should stop the "nanny state" mentality - he is against it, not endorsing it; he gives Katrina as an example of why it's obviously it's not working. I think you are badly misinterpreting what he is stating.
