Damn, if I put http://supervoterbomb.com/index.html in there, all the social sharing numbers drop to 0, which is bad.

If I put http://supervoterbomb.com// in there, the Facebook numbers drop by about half for some reason.

I think it may too late to change now. Any other solution?

Donations I see are coming in! Will the RevPAC facebook promote this, and will they send out some emails? I think this could take off quick if they did that, and asked people to spread the word.

Please RevPac wait and give the best products before shipping this out. Can they partner up and improve the superbrochure to appeal to Republican voters not Ron Paul supporters. The superbrochure has to many extras and says end the fed and talks about international peace which should not be in there because Ron PAul respects the soveriengty of other nations like Israel. Also what's wrong with getting people on the ground to go door to door and save a ton of money on postage. I'm not a fan of the For Liberty for getting new people turned on. How about a youtube video compilation.
First impressions are very important make it count and do it right.

While the 60 min doc will be on the disc, the design of the menus will put just as much, if not more emphasis on watching the add-on videos we plan on including. The menu is going to get a complete re-design to do this effectively.

This is a SUPER PAC project.

SUPER PAC projects are not grassroots projects.

Which is my point.

The Official Campaign cannot take more than $2500 from a person.

SUPER PACS can take huge amounts of money from one person, one company, one whatever.

But the SUPER PAC is not doing a good job, at all, as a SUPER PAC.

I'm not criticizing the DVD, or the mailing, or anything. I'm presuming it's good. There are skilled people onboard.

But as money raisers, which is the whole point, they're not doing a good job.

Again, the SUPER PAC should have tons of money, and if they're asking the same people as the official campaign is asking, they aren't doing the job they're supposed to be doing, which is getting the extra money from the people who have maxed out. Not competing with the official campaign.

I can only guess at what Facebook tries to do when you provide a link.. but it seems like it does pick up a thumbnail for some pages like the home pages for google and some others, so at least we know it's not doing something special for the http://supervoterbomb.com/ root page.

Did you recently add in the thumbnail? Facebook might be caching the no-thumbnail and summary.

If I try sharing http://supervoterbomb.com/?ignore-cache it correctly finds the thumbnail.

I just sent out an email promoting this to around 5,000 RevPAC subscribers, and we'll be hitting with follow ups in the coming days/weeks. I seriously hate sending mass emails, but it appears to be helping push up the ticker. It's a bit tough starting out from 0 with these things. Thanks to all who are helping.

Yeah I did change the thumb yesterday (and the filename, then deleted the old version off the server), so maybe it's holding the old version in cache? I just added the new image to the server with the old filename, so maybe that will help.

I would assume Facebook looks up a page the first time someone shares it and saves it on their server so they don't have to do this lookup (and fetching of images) every time someone shares the link. They might refresh it on some time delay.

You can try testing the cache by changing the page with maybe a different description? See if the description text changes on Facebook when sharing http://supervoterbomb.com/
