Not really. That said, we are still working on large donors but so far the ones we've found want to invest in Youtube specific targeted pre-roll campaigns (this is actually pretty slick & effective - believe it or not, you can target up to 66% of likely Republican voters on Youtube and elsewhere on the web, and even break it down to states). We just interviewed a potential high level fundraiser to tap into the general conservative market. But it's tough, you have to not be too "Ron Paul" or they get scared off. Things are moving along, albeit slowly...and we're obviously aware IA is 48 days off.

This direct-mailing has to be supported by the grassroots to be successful. If we do get a large donor to come in a finish this thing off, well then we'd finish off the ticker and more on to the next states on the list. I'm not counting on that though.
 
Maybe I'm not clear on the meaning of "SUPER PAC", but I thought the whole point of a SUPER PAC was to take money from people who have already maxed out.

That's what the point is of a SUPER PAC.

With a SUPER PAC, you don't have money bombs. Because you're directly contacting people who have maxed out. Or, the official campaign is sending money your way. Not having yet another money bomb, trying to get money from the same people who still have money to give to the official campaign.

But, again, maybe I'm just not sure what the purpose of a SUPER PAC is.
 
Just donated as well. Try to spread the word on this. They only have 20 Facebook shares as of now.

This is a great concept with them sending out the DVD as well.

The purpose of a Super PAC is to be able to take in unlimited donations from US-based individuals, businesses, and orgs. Maxed-out donors have nothing to do with it, people can donate wherever they like, whether maxed out or not.

If you're considering trolling up this thread like you've done with others in the past, please don't. I seriously don't have time for it.

Yeah, PP causes a major issue with sending real-time data to the ticker. If you notice, the official campaign only uses a form and no PP. That is because trying to automatically merge the 2 databases into a real-time ticker data stream is virtually impossible.

If we get enough requests we can add PP, but those won't be displayed on the ticker (or reflect the total) until they are manually added to our main database. So it's a bit tricky lol.

I've been hoping for RevPAC to work with the grassroots on projects such as these. I hope they will do more as there are many grassroots projects that exist, but really lack someone to take the lead. Is there any hope to get help from RevPAC on the promoting the upcoming Tea Party?

I would urge you to do this. Many people use PayPal exclusively.

Not sure what trolling is.

I'm aware that you don't have to be maxed out to donate.

It simply is not trolling to suggest that money should go to the official campaign if the donor hasn't maxed out.

It simply is not trolling to suggest that Ron Paul does need a SUPER PAC that will focus on large donors.

It simply is not trolling to point out that extra moneybombs, designed to hit the same donors that the official campaign hits, in the same way that the official campaign does, is not the way to go.

It's just my suggestion that Ron Paul's Super PAC not compete with the Ron Paul Official Campaign for low dollar contributions. And it isn't trolling to make that suggestion.

Please RevPac wait and give the best products before shipping this out. Can they partner up and improve the superbrochure to appeal to Republican voters not Ron Paul supporters. The superbrochure has to many extras and says end the fed and talks about international peace which should not be in there because Ron PAul respects the soveriengty of other nations like Israel. Also what's wrong with getting people on the ground to go door to door and save a ton of money on postage. I'm not a fan of the For Liberty for getting new people turned on. How about a youtube video compilation.
First impressions are very important make it count and do it right.
