Finally got to vote for Ron and it felt great! I got to connect the arrow's head to its tail next to the good doctor's name with my special pen. I couldn't help but keep thinking of the Ron Paul version of the My New Haircut video.
I arrived at the polling place at 11:05 AM. I was only the 48th voter in my precinct; my husband was voter #49. 2 votes cast for RON PAUL on PAPER ballots. Woo Hoo! Oh yeah, I'm in CA.
My wife and I just racked up two more votes for Dr. Paul here in Raytown, MO. For the first time in 20 years of my voting history, I don't feel like my vote was wasted.
I voted Ron Paul and his delegates. My polling place wasn't deserted at all. The lady at the counter was saying 150 some ballots so far. That's about 5% of the precinct.
I just got back from voting for Ron Paul and his delegates here in Evanston, IL (Chicago Suburb). My friend also voted today for Ron Paul early in the morning. This is Evanston and this city basically has completely endorsed Obama. My polling station was not that packed just about 5 others voting at that time. There was a Obama supporter handing out democratic pamphlets and trying to sway last minute decider's to go for Obama. I took one of the pamphlets just to make him happy and walked inside without telling him who I'm voting for (Threw away pamphlet shortly after). I obviously wasn't gonna bother trying to change someone as dedicated as him to change his mind (Plus he probably already voted). When I left he asked me how it went and I told him it went great He'll have to determine what that means for himself, haha.
Northern AZ: My wife and I voted early and held signs for several hours (eating lunch and heading back out). Just about everybody who went in to vote looked like they were 105 years old (no offence to older voters, just stating a fact). Kind of depressing that not one person gave the thumbs up or even acted like they knew who Ron Paul was. Hopefully it gets better this afternoon when people start getting off work.
MY wife and I faxed our vote yesterday from Europe. Venice Beach California (Los Angeles County, Jane Harman). The way I see it, we just cenceled out two dummies who voted for McCain or Romney.
Just got back from voting in Nashville. My wife and I voted for Paul. Got some coworkers as well. Also have a pastor and most of my church (conservative Presbyterian (PCA)) voting for him as well.
