The PAC has spent $117,579 on robo calls and mailers for Bentivolio and against Republican write-in candidate Nancy Cassis, a former state Senator from Novi. The PAC also purchased more than $200,000 in air time for a commercial supporting Bentivolio, a Milford teacher and part-time farmer who raises reindeer to be used to pull Santa’s sleigh during holiday parades.

And Nancy's personal wealth has now been neutralized.

What a bad investment for her. I hope she doesn't end up on the government welfare system; she is nearly 70.

"The Liberty for All Super PAC, which has ties to Libertarian-leaning Republican Ron Paul, is dumping more than $300,000 into Republican Kerry Bentivolio’s congressional campaign.

The attack ads that these guys did for the Massie campaign were pretty good. Not excellent, but adequate and effective enough to put a seed of doubt in people's minds for sure. And they absolutely inundated the airwaves with them here in the 4th district of Kentucky.

Wow...

All funded by a 21-year old who dropped $1.9 million as of June 30 and probably a lot more since then.

The only thing I don't like about Kerry is him pledging to only serve three terms. I wish he didn't say that especially since he's in a safe GOP district.

yeah, and then two more terms as Senator Bentivolio!

Yeah I thought the same thing, but of course, he may only want to do 1 term for all we know. We better start looking now to line up someone. :toady:

I don't like it much either, but he's an older gentlemen, too. If he can help groom someone to take his seat when he's done...

Or maybe he'll end up beating Levin. :D Meh - Trey4Sports beat me!

We need someone to become a State Representative in that district. Or, if Kerry ends up being really popular, he could just drop his pledge...

A bunch of us were discussing just this a few days ago and we've all settled on someone to take his place. She's as feisty as they come and GOP male operatives have tried repeatedly to co-opt her by offering her this or that, but she's on our team! We call her the canvassing machine.

Oh and this thread has answered my prayers. Can anyone imagine the look on the write-ins face when the freep article came out, lol. She's burned through her stash and now she has no vols to GOTV next week. Somebody will be hitting the bottle on Tuesday night.

Kerry will have clout after being in Congress for a few terms and his endorsement will carry weight. He'll pass the baton to another liberty lion.

Just saw the ad twice in separate commercial segments. I hope this helps Kerry win by a ridiculous margin.
