The two are mutually exclusive. You can't be fiscally responsible if you want to have the government's military spread around the world.

Exactly! This makes me wonder whether a lot of the support for things like "Audit the Fed" - when it comes from foreign policy hawks - is just "skin deep."

These anti-Fed (or at least "not-so-pro"-Fed) hawks are either A) just hitching a ride on a popular bandwagon or B) they really don't understand what a can of worms they're helping to open. The Federal Reserve system is the engine that drives our massive military spending & overseas misadventures.

Of course, it could be both A & B. In any case, I'll gladly take it - auditing the Fed is a necessary precursor to ending it.

I fully support a Kurt Bills Sub-Forum. As one of the few people to be endorsed by Rep. Ron Paul, his ideas of auditing the fed, eliminating wasteful departments, and protecting the sanctity of life are fabulous. I believe that he will join Jim Demint, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and other in their fight for the Constitution. I vote YES!

He wasn't advocating supporting her, he was merely stating that in terms of achieving and audit of the Fed she would be useful.

Also, don't forget that the Fed bankrolls America's empire.

I have met Kurt several times and have heard him speak on multiple occasions. Kurt is an Austrian-economics high school teacher who was elected to the State House and is running against the big-government Democrat Amy Klobuchar.

Senator Klobuchar was a co-sponsor for the CISPA/PIPA legislation which would give the government the ability to shut down whatever website it wanted to on a whim.

If we can get Kurt Bills to beat her, and it is possible to do, then we can send a message that we are REJECTING those who want to censor the Internet!
