(STUDY) What is the personality of a Ron Paul Supporter?

Actually, one of the traits that people will use to judge your personality trait (J or P), is how your desk looks. Spotless, organized desk is J, messy desk is P. Many managers use this for determining who should be considered for management. Messy desk generally removes you from the list, unless your manager is also a P.

For short time-frames (say a high priority project), Ps can actually be better organized and more efficient than Js, but the personality indicators are intended to describe your every day preferences.

Really? Because my desk is always messy, but I'm as INTJ as they come. Of course, I'm talking about my desk at home. If I had a job with a desk, I'd probably keep it tidy. However, I plan on working outside (desk free) for the rest of my life.

And you know whats funny?the worst managers are micromanagement. They see everything linear.

I dunno about that. My desk is a mess and I'm a J.

I dunno about that. My desk is a mess and I'm a J.

I'm guessing my desk worse, and I'm a J also. I've ben a J every time I take the test. So I'm guessing a clean desk is just one relatively common trait that is by no means universal to the J type.

I don't have a desk but if I did, it would be messy! And I'm a J.

The first time I took the test, I came out a J. After reading more about it, I now know that I am a P. I suspect that our high number of Js is masking many Ps. True Js do not have messy desks, that's almost an iron-clad rule of the categorization, per it's intended design.

The main reason for many false Ps on the indicator test is that our society and education system tries as hard as it can to make us all Js. They want us to be structured, to follow precise rules, to conform, so much so that we answer some of the indicator questions based on what we think we should do, rather than what we would actually do given our own natural preference.

If you have a messy desk, and the indicator test gives you a J, it is a good idea to look more carefully at the description of the type with a P. (I.e. if you came out ENTJ, look at ENTP). With just one letter difference, the descriptions are very similar, but there may be some subtle differences you will pick up on after reading more (look for more in depth info than the one paragraph descriptions).

So, if I were a P, that would make me an INTP? Or what? I wonder which question would change that outcome.

I'm an ENFP. I've looked into this as well, and as Karsten noticed, a strong N seems to be the common denominator.

ive taken tests like these before i forget which i am as far as the letters go. but i support paul because hes honest and desnt lie to people. he also wants to let me be free. thats big for me.
