It’s like the OSHA vaccine mandate. Probably won’t pass Constitutional muster, but they don’t care. It’s not about the policy as much as it is to push the envelope on how much control they have over the populace. If they get to steal your wealth to give to their brainwashed voters, great. I think the worst part is that we have a majority of the population that is so spoiled and coddled that they see nothing wrong with stealing from the children and grandchildren of the poor if it means they don't have to pay off their own debts.

The financial system is a symptom of the disease. The root of this problem is our moral decay.

I think this would be true if we had the current situation and sound money. But we don't. So it's not automatically the case that the Babylonians are invading because of the sins of the Israelites. People are acting out human nature (laziness, mooching, etc.) and not meeting the natural resistance that would be there if money were sound. The corrupt priesthood has secretly betrayed the entire nation and that is why the Babylonians have surrounded us. That their corruption has fueled the worst tendencies of some among us is just more evidence of the corruption itself.

Here's an exercise for the reader: Who, if anyone, would federal courts recognize as having "standing" to sue over this issue - and for what kind of "relief"? (At least with the vaccine mandates, those directly subject to the mandates were easily recognized as having standing, and relief consisted of their not having to take the jab.)

Handing out stimmies in a $1.5 trillion bill when unemployment was lower than most of the last 59 years was easily the worst. But this would be top 3.
