Strip McConnell of GOP Leadership

Trump is a standard big spending RINO like the Bushes, McConnell, etc. Yet the Democrats are very good at outdoing the RINOs on spending. Nothing exceeds like excess.

Ok, I take back what I said. I thought you were in the "Trump was a good president" crowd. And of course compared to the dems he's not as bad. But still very bad.

People complain that I want perfection in a president and that's just not true. I want a president that will move us TOWARDS capitalism and liberty, not socialism and slavery. The problem with Trump is by any objective measure he moved us towards socialism and by a lot. Just not as much as the dems would have.

Bump.

WASHINGTON – Spotlighting a widening breach among Republicans, Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell criticized the Republican National Committee on Tuesday for censuring Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, and for suggesting that the Jan. 6 insurrection was "legitimate political discourse."

“It was a violent insurrection for the purpose of trying to prevent a peaceful transfer of power after a legitimately certified election from one administration to the next," McConnell told reporters. "That’s what it was."

So when do we be done with this guy? Canada kicked O'Toole (aptly named, btw) out of their conservative party within 2 weeks. We are slackin'.

Lock him up!

WASHINGTON — While serving as transportation secretary during the Trump administration, Elaine Chao repeatedly used her office staff to help family members who run a shipping business with extensive ties to China, a report released Wednesday by the Transportation Department’s inspector general concluded.

The inspector general referred the matter to the Justice Department in December for possible criminal investigation. But in the weeks before the end of Trump administration, two Justice Department divisions declined to do so.

Does anybody honestly believe McConnell would ever let go of GOP leadership willingly? It's pretty clear we're going to have to wait until he dies before we get someone fresh.

Our main challenge as I see it, is that the GOP -- the party ostensibly in our corner -- has no intention of representing the voters' interests. By their actions, they run interference for the Left, as the game has it. I see the two as the same thing, run by and for the interests of global elites and corporations and their "great reset" vision. All the GOP members of congress? No...but it doesn't matter too much what a GOP rep or senator here or there says or does. It matters what they all do. It matters what they bring to a vote and what they refuse to bring to a vote. It matters who in the GOP votes with the Left and who assists their initiatives. It also matters what the GOP does about those people who vote and act in one way or another, in opposition to the party's millions of voters. We can't continue to think that the party's structural status quo is the right structure and believe that we will win the legislation and public policy which will return the nation to some semblance of its founding precepts and values.

I view the GOP as the single greatest obstacle to that return. It seems clear to me that we are the majority. We are simply blocked in Washington and some of the states. We need a new concept of "party", with a structure and rules which will break the control of the elites.

McConnell Caves to Pelosi, Schumer, Allows JCPA Media Cartel Bailout Bill to Be Included in Defense Package

Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell has caved to outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and will allow the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to include the highly controversial media cartel bill the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA), sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News.

Over objections from House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy, the likely next speaker of the House come January 3 of next year, other congressional leaders acquiesced to lobbyist pressure and agreed to include the JCPA in the base text of the NDAA. McCarthy was the only member of congressional leadership to fight back against the inclusion, but was overruled three to one after McConnell caved.
...
The JCPA, essentially a transfer of wealth from Silicon Valley to the discredited and distrusted corporate legacy media, is highly controversial. Beyond the financial payouts to media companies, they will be able to form a “joint negotiating entity”—a cartel, immune from antitrust law—to negotiate with Big Tech companies on the “terms and conditions” for carrying their content.

Censorship is sure to be a frequent demand of media companies.
