That was terrible! I was especially interested to see Paul talk to Obama and IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! They said hello and then just moved on. WTF?!? I figured Obama would have a lot to say to Paul. Instead he was grabbing Huckabee all over the place. I lost some respect for Barack there.

I was waiting to see what would happen there. Especially since Ron Paul spoke very kindly of him toward the end of the debate.

Speculation here, but I always wondered who Karl Rove is working for now. An editorial ran earlier with advice from Rove for Obama, and I couldn't figure out why.

I wonder if some of this racism stuff isn't coming from Obama's camp, specifically because his campaign hinges on being the first black President, the social unifier and change guy.

yeah i agree with you, i cringed when thompson said that too. i wasn't saying i agreed with everything he said or everyone else who did well in the debate, i'm just saying (fairly objectively because i'm biased for ron paul) that they did better debating than ron paul did.

I think besides Ron Paul, Thompson is the closest thing to a conservative. He is affable. I think he's funnier than Huckabee. He's the sleeper in this race.

It's a shame his supporters are the biggest a-holes on the net. They are the establishment republicans who have been smearing Ron Paul with the storm front crap.

Based on his supporters I don't trust him as anything more than an establishment tool. He is also a globalist.

I think it's in combination with the consensus that this one of his best debates. There was one where we all just about threw up. This was not one of them.
