Outside question. If immigrating illegaly is illegal, why don't we treat that violation of law like all others, with jail. Because we care more about the profit of deporting them (and not having to house and feed them while in our jails) than the justice of ENFORCING LAW and punishing it's violation.

If you got deported every time you tried to rob a bank, you/d keep trying till you succeded. Same with immigration.
