HSA's work best when you already know how much you will have to spend, otherwise you risk losing money with them. So if you know you have a huge operation planned they are great, but if you just want to use one for just in case its not such a good idea.

Absolutely wrong! You are talking about a completely separate program. HSAs grow year-by year as long as you don't spend all the money in the account.

Wait - did McCain just claim he was never for amnesty?

WTF?

Does he think the people of this country are ignorant?

Not the health-savings account offered by my employer. Now if you're talking about a government sponsored program, I'm not aware of it. I fully checked out and read every bit of info on the HSA offered by my employer and decided it wasn't for me at this time. The main benefit is that it's pre-tax.

Our HSA rolls over, but since DH has medicine that costs 200.00 every 3 weeks, we usually end the year with little or nothing in it. We've had it 4 years now and I think it is up to 1,500. lol. (well, no lol)

OOOHHH.. getting nasty again... McCain and Romney..

Romney is cooked.

If Huck stays quiet he could actually come out pretty well. The more he talks, the more he'll cook also.

It's a shame Ron's politeness harms him in this type of thing, he won't cut everyone off like they are.
