It might seem that $12 million for this quarter ($4 million per month) is a pretty ambitious goal to set. But imagine the benefits if it's reached. Sorry if this has been discussed before, but i think it's pretty important to meet this goal.

And it is pretty realistic. If 120,000 people each donate $100 in the quarter, then there we have it! And I think that there are more than 120,000 Ron Paul supporters around. Or, if 40,000 supporters donate $100 per month - again, this sounds manageable.
Would it help to spread this idea to Ron Paul supporters - 'donate your $100 now'?

Does anyone else have any thoughts on the $12 million goal, and how to reach it? One thing's for sure, with only $800K done so far, the pace has to be stepped up.

Anyone that gives $100.00

or more gets a ticket for each 100.00 and drawing is held in mid December. Winner gets to organize a News Years Eve function that Ron Paul must attend. A minimum of 5,000 donors must be attained.

Great idea. Would this actually be possible to organise?

Only way is to get more supporters, which means pass out more slimjims!

The campaign can sell autographed copies of the Ron Paul mosaic.

I would pay 100 for one.

Get the local business journal for your city (e.g. The Dallas Business Journal), and find the names and addresses of top executives in local companies. Write a bunch of them a nice, professional fundraising letter. Small business owners would be even better, explaining why Ron Paul is the best choice and all the support he already has. Sales people use these types of magazines for finding new contacts with cash all the time.

I told the campaign they need to add the option of what's known in the fundraising biz as a reoccurring charge, simple add the option to select an amount you decide to automatically re-charge the credit card at whatever interval the donor deems appropriate, ie weekle, biweekly, every third and so on.
