I just got back from visiting their location and speaking to the media about it. This is what I know so far:

The office was raided yesterday just before the business was to be opened. FBI agents stormed the building, and confiscated EVERYTHING.

The metals
The certificates
The hard drives
The files
Bank accounts
and even the plates to manufacture the dollars.

..The place is absolutely gutted. The safes are empty. The owner has not been charged with any crimes and currently lives in Florida.

No one was arrested!

I went to their location to find lights out and no one there. I talked to the media for about 20 minutes about the raids.

As of right now, the Ron Paul meetup has showed up and already talked to 2 news agencies regarding the busts. The local news will be running a story on the busts and has interviewed many RP supporters.

Sometimes we laugh, because if we don't, we'll cry uncontrollably. I don't know why people are fighting over this and about who's wasting time on what.

The fact of the matter is that this is just as serious as losing habeas corpus by executive dictat.

I don't think that it's a hoax, and I don't think he ran off with the so-called money (FRN). If the founder was to skip off with something, it would have been the metal, not the paper.

Anyway, what's the use of the first amendment if we don't use it? This event should be talked about until it is out for "mainstream" to see. In this case, silence isn't golden.

Too many things are happening in a bunch that make me a little concerned - this happens a day or two after RP supporters are accused on national television of being terrorists?

Thanks for the info. This is very sad and strange.

But since there was no crime commited I think the founder of liberty dollar should file a civil suit.
And everyone should support it. This is very wrong, and he should not have been raided. Yet E Gold was raided in a very similar way.

This is going to make national news.. and this shows just how much tyranny is slowly growing in this country. The elites fear Ron Paul, they fear the Liberty Dollar, Because when we have a REAL currency backed by gold, they KNOW that microchips will NOT prevail. And as Nick Rockefeller has admited their end goal is a cashless society with microchips and all money on those chips. Their power grip, is only because of money... once they lose their grip on who controls the money.. they lose their so called power. Which their only power is to create money out of thin air.

I feel very bad for the founder of Liberty Dollar, this reminds me a lot of when the government tried to shut down E Gold. But e gold won, and they are still open. They also got raided.
So If the founded can prove nothing illegal is going on in his enterprise.. they will have to let him continue operations like normal.

Remember they were not able to shut down E Gold and they accused them of the same things they accused the Liberty Dollar of. So I know the liberty dollar will also prevail.

Bottom line microchips and National IDs must be blocked and never accepted.

Once Ron Paul is elected we can have a real currency.. and we can defeat any implementation of REAL ID act.. or microchips. Most importantly we can reinstate the Constitution.

I don't think so, They went after Liberty Dollar.. because they think they send dirty money through their system.. or use the money to buy illegal things.

An only company that uses Gold to back all money called E-Gold also got raided.. but when they proved in court they were not doing anything wrong, they had to give all their stuff back.. and let them continue business as usual. And I think they are still running today.

I think once the owner proves Liberty Dollars are not used for bad purposes they will also let me keep doing business.

All I know is that a lot of gold and silver is gone, missing, stolen, raided or hoisted away by the owner, but anyway you look at it it's not on the news Barry Bonds is. Potentially millions of dollars of fraud or raids doesn't make the news? You then have to ask yourself why?
