This is a blatant media tactic, in order to sway Ron Paul's soft support, and make people question Ron himself.

Ron wouldn't even support Reagan after various things he had done.

I think people have forgotten, that much of Ron Paul's intentions were to eliminate the weaker strands, and pit himself up against Romney. All according to plan. We're only feeding Romney's momentum due to this. Many Romney supporters are saying, "Even Ron Paul likes him!"

I was going to make a thread about this but I'm already known for making REALITY CHECK threads bitching at everybody.

We shouldn't even stop the speculation just because Wead said so.

We should ALL KNOW not to speculate about petty shit like Romney/Paul alliance or some stupid shit like whether or not Palin is going to endorse us. It seems like so much of the RPF grassroots and grassroosts in GENERAL is fixated on TALKING and SPECULATING but not WORKING.


A lot of us literally putting our lives on hold and giving countless hours to make sure we win the white house. I don't want to lose the GOP nomination only to look back and REGRET that I could've done more and I know you guys don't either.

So stop DICKING around and start organizing for VICTORY.


Start showing up at events and coordinate with the locals. If you don't have local events to show up to, START ONE.


I'll be damned if most of you guys lose this damn election by TALKING out of your asses.


If you are sensitive to this post, you should be re-evaluating your priorities in this RACE.

Let me play devil's advocate. Odds are that Romney is the Nominee. (Intrade has Romney at a 79% chance of being the nominee) You have to ask yourself would you rather have Ron Paul in Romney's ear or Marco Rubio in his ear. This is a valid point and should be debated especially if it looks like Romney locks up the nomination. I guess you all can act as if this is not going to happen but it most likely will. I for one want Ron to have the highest position possible (President) but if that is not going to happen I want him as VP or whatever he feels comfortable doing. Call me crazy.

Ron Paul would be undermined, ignored, and nothing he ever advocated would ever come to fruition, because Romney is one of them. They've undermined him the last 30 years, and they'll do so even if he is VP. No one will even know, because the media will rarely if ever cover Ron Paul while in the VP Seat.

Yes, it would be an accomplishment that we got our man into the VP Seat. Would anything good come of it? No. The powers that be are just not going to allow it, unless he has the reigns to do so.

But a man who supports the NDAA, Patriot Act, World War 3, Anti-Constitutional Legislation, Goldman Sachs, and doesn't want to do anything about the Federal Reserve would be the one in charge.

I would vote for a Romney/Paul or even Romney/Rand ticket. The whole point is that at some time Ron has to hand this thing off to US, and we're better off inside the party walls rather than outside of it. Is it perfect? Hardly. But it sure as hell beats a Santorum/Gingrich ticket of any stripe, and it DEFINITELY beats a Romney/Rubio ticket.

I doubt Ron Paul would ever be Romney's VP. And I doubt even more than many Ron Paul supporters would vote for that ticket. I definitely wouldn't.
