Dr Paul was virtually ignored on last nite's CNN TV debate, not only by Anderson Cooper but by the other reporters, as well.

Do you think this silencing of Dr Paul was an accident or a coincidence, or do you think it was deliberate, therefore pre-planned, and therefore a conspiracy ?? And not a conspiracy just by Anderson Cooper and TV camera operators, but by everybody involved with the broadcast, including and especially CNN bosses, Anderson Cooper, and the bosses of the other reporters, as well.

Let us never forget that the entire main stream media (to a very noticeable and effective degree) deliberately hushed up our candidate and thusly hushed up "we the people", and our message of Hope for America.

There is not a shred of doubt in my mind, that had Dr Paul been given equal time by the main stream media these past few months, he'd be the Republican front runner.

It is the MEDIA MOGULS who decide who becomes President of the United States. Their conspiracies and manipulations control the minds of the masses, therefore the actions of the masses, including how they vote.

The media is our enemy.

I agree completely. I wish people would just get together and say we are fed up with it and start to donate large sums of money in order to create a "Freedom of Speech" channel, that would compete with all the major news channels. I'd love to see them sweat when their ratings start to go down the crapper.

"Freedom of Speech" channel

Check out Free Speech TV network on Dish Satellite to see what this would look like.

Yes, it is definitely left of center but there is actual investigative journalism going on. The Democracy Now program hosted by Amy Goodman is particularly anti-establishment.

Here is a recent show about Clinton's support of Indonesian Dictator Suharto:

I agree whole heartedly. My question is, should we waste our time and energy fighting this or push ahead with Dr Pauls message. I vote for the latter.

Unplug from the matrix.

Get rid of your television (broadcast, cable, satellite).

Use your TV for watching DVD's, use your computer for information.

You decide what you watch, not them.

I don't watch TV, haven't for 11 years. So, what's going on there has little bearing on my life. However, I know it impacts others. When I've told some I don't watch TV, they ask "What do you do then?" like it is all there is. How people and things are presented in the media are powerful, and truth matters none at all.

The MSM has "plausible" excuses for ignoring RP, and most people will believe them. Life would be too complicated if they began to see the contradictions and collusions in this part of their life. How someone is presented or not presented via the MSM in a Presidential race is incredibly important, and the MSM knows it. GWB was elected (vote fraud aside) not because of who he is/was or what he stands/stood for but because of how he was presented. His was a carefully crafted and controlled PR campaign, and it worked. People still believe what they were told about him even though his actions have demonstrated otherwise.

We went into last night's debate with high hopes for Ron's performance. But, the MSM controlling the show is powerful. Cooper shut Paul up with empty promises so he could focus on his love buddies. Even if Ron had asserted himself, it would've been spun and the MSM, being in control, would've made it not work for his benefit. Ron did the best he could in the situation and based upon who he is. The MSM did what it does because that's what it is. Self-preservation is a powerful corporate motive, and that's what we're seeing.

QFT...It is the best thing you can do for yourself and your family!!! However, be aware the government does NOT want you to do this. I am not a conspiracy theorist, I have had first hand experience with how angry the government gets when you try to unplug from the matrix. If you have children be prepared for a viciousness the likes of which you would never believe exists if you ever get on the governments radar...:mad::mad:

It is not an either/or situation for me. I am using my energy to spread Dr. Paul's message while continuing to support grassroots efforts fighting for freedom and peace. The GOP and corporate media can collude all they want, Ron Paul's message will not be silenced.

Broadcast media companies exist by selling ads. They satisfy their viewers in order to sell the ads. If showing more Ron Paul satisfied their viewers, they'd show more Ron Paul.

It comes down to the fact that most people either are not registered to vote, do not vote even if they are registered, and do not care to be bothered by examining the candidates even when they do vote. Many are much happier watching American Idol. It is no conspiracy, just a fact of life.

You deal with it by canvassing to identify your supporters and then get them to the polls.

Don't let Anderson Cooper or any of the other chowderheads have such power...ignore them.

Media is only the head of the monster

Do not restrict your thoughts to the media. From all that I see, they are but the mouthpiece for what I call the power elite. There are HUGH corporations and organizations that do not even have to earn money, who control/own the media.
They are for the most part, attempting to manipulate and control our very existence. This is why they call us kooks. Because we know the truth.

If this was true, why did they occasionally have Ron Paul on and even gave him double-digit time in two debates before he came in second in the Nevada and LA caucuses?

Hi, I have another thread where I am getting help w/ replies as it's hard to type long things and I am having major surgery next week due to this. Maybe you guys can help w/ typing a reply as these topics are linked...please help me with a reply
Two posts, which should be easy to debate...having clear proof rather than what they can blow off as conspiracies would help. I am not doing this so much as to convince them as to convince others blind to the corruption.
Ron Paul is a rank outsider, are you suggesting they should spend significant amounts of time on him just because he's there? In the UK we have the Monster Raving Loony Party who run every election, but they don't get covered because they're a minority party. When you watch a horse race, they don't discuss the weakest horse in the race as much as the likely winners. I'm sorry you don't like it, but it's common sense.

Agreed.

A VERY small percentage of Americans support Ron Paul. I honestly don't believe ANY amount of media coverage is going to change that. When Americans tune in to hear the political debates (many of which Ron Paul took part in), they're just not there to watch Ron Paul. So how is it, then, that news companies should be obligated to cover him as much as the candidates that people ARE interested in? wassat.gif It makes no sense.

then in another post says Still, the news companies are private organizations, right? So should they not be entitled to cover whoever they want (which, generally, would be whoever is going to get them the best ratings and most viewers)?
which can help prove our point...
Lastly..
Ok, we agree on the news agencies then. I do agree coverage doesn't equal support, however I do believe if the support for Ron Paul was there, he would be covered more. Catch 22, I suppose.
ty so far guys, this is having more people look into Ron.
