Stern: ‘I Don’t Like Censorship,’ but Neil Young was Right to Push Blacklist Against Joe Rogan

...
Yea, I just reached a point where I started diving in and saw there were, what I'd label an inordinate amount of Jewish folks in high positions in various institutions.
It's impressive when you consider they are one of the smaller worldwide religions and are an absolute minority in the U.S.

Good for them in that, but they all typically have the same politics and say the same things. When anyone tries to criticize or push back, the "anti-semite" label is tossed right on the table and the conversation is over.

That's what bothers me about all of this.

There are gross generalizations that can be made about any group. For example, many Asian people value education.

One gross generalization could be made that Jewish people tend to be more interested and involved in politics than other groups. I find this in local politics as well as national. That being said, there are plenty of Jewish individuals that are huge Trump supporters (I know some), and many libertarians and Constitutionalists are also Jewish.

The thing about gross generalizations is that it doesn't take a majority of a group to result in a generalization about a group. Are all people who immigrate from south of the border gardeners? No, but enough are gardeners for someone to make that generalization, even if it is was only 10% (random number) of that group.

Ludwig von Mises ... Murray Rothbard ... Walter Block ... Dave Smith ... Michael Malice ...

Those are just right off the top of my head. There are many others.

(And hell, Walter Block even started that whole "Libertarians for Trump" thing.)

 Since when was Joni Mitchell ever a rock singer - let alone a "rock star" ... ?

I had a friend on FB post the "...they paved paradise and put up a parking lot..." line from her awful song, Big Yellow Taxi. She commented, "isn't it awful how little open spaces are left?", or something like that. I replied and said, "tell ya what, head out of Topeka, KS, heading west on 70. Drive the NINE hours it takes to get from there to Denver, and let me know how much 'open space' you see. You'll be lucky to find a gas station, let alone a 'parking lot'. The only places that nature has been 'destroyed', and all the open spaces are gone are in the big cities."

I swear these people look around at what is right in front of their faces and assume that the whole world looks the same way.

Yeah, it's not technically "censorship"... We've gotten too loose with this notion that it's only bad when the state silences people. To quote George R.R. Martin, “When you tear out a man's tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you're only telling the world that you fear what he might say.” Yes, private entities may refuse to allow certain individuals to speak on their platforms. That doesn't mean that they SHOULD. It's cowardice. And it's as much a threat to society as it would be if the state silenced individuals.

Again, they're free to do it. But it is devastating to society when they do.

As long as you don't support government solutions to "fix" the problem I agree with you.

That being said there are many people here that do want government solutions like hitting Facebook with an antitrust lawsuit. That's just stupid.

I think there's a good chance that the reason these companies are censoring right wing content is because they are being threatened by government agencies like the FCC. We know congress has openly threatened Facebook, remember a few years ago when they held hearings and demanded to know why Alex Jones was still on Facebook. We need to get rid of government coercion against businesses not increase it with antitrust lawsuits or whatever.

It is still prudent to be aware of facts and reality.

The fact is, Jews are highly disproportionately represented in media and positions of power.

That doesn't happen by itself.

Posts like yours (no offense intended, as I do understand your point) discourages people from even acknowledging this fact, for the sake of being "not racist".

We can all agree that this country is fucked. We should be able to be open and honest how that happened. The simple fact is, Jews played a disproportionate role in fucking this country.

The questions of how and why that was allowed to occur I think are legitimate questions (though not necessarily relevant for this thread)

What kind of Stormfront bullshit is that.

Besides the fact that Jews as a group are probably the most productive ethic group in society and have probably done the most disproportionate good in society, your post is the most disgusting thing I have ever read on the forums. You are an idiot and clown. That is awful. That is pure Nazi propaganda.

I wasn't aware you hate facts.

And are they in positions of power because they are productive? Or are they productive because they are in positions of power?

You know when a 35 yr old woman is still single after many failed relationships, the common denominator is her...

Well, when your culture is repeatedly throughout history, hated, exiled, chased out, and genocided, there is similarly, a common denominator.

When the jews left Europe and came to America, they pretty much got a fresh start. Americans had nothing but sympathy for them.

Yet again however, like throughout history, antisemitism seems to be growing. I wonder why that is.

What's the common denominator.

If the National Guard was called out to shoot anti-mandate protesters, Neil Young would probably cheer it.

I haven't heard, but I'd bet good money, he's fully behind the murder of Ashli Babbit by an incompetent Capital cop.

On borders and tariffs, Ron Paul and I disagree.

People would ask sometimes, "if you disagree, why do you support him so strongly".

One word answer: consistency.

In today's Clown World, filled with clowns constantly clowning, that is a rare commodity.

And it is growing more violent and unchecked among those political groups Jews support almost unanimously.

I honestly don't think they can help it...there's some weird streak of hubris, arrogance and self loathing that sends them down this path of self destruction at the hands of golum they themselves create, over and over and over again.

FFS, the Chosen Ones have been pissing God himself off for damn near 5000 years.

Nobody gave Milton Friedman a Nobel Prize for being Jewish. Entrepreneurs like Andy Grove and Larry Ellison weren't checked out for being Jewsih.

Behind most anti-Semites are anti-capitalists who think life is just a fixed pie doled out by elites.

Jews have done good things, this is not in dispute. The facts of my prior post remain uncontested by anything you have said. Which isn't surprising, considering that most of what you have said so far, have been attacks personal in nature.

Behind most anti-Semites are anti-capitalists who think life is just a fixed pie doled out by elites.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume you did not intend to imply that I am one of the people you are describing here. If that is however indeed what you are intending to imply - you couldnt be more wrong about me.

Meghan and Harry Join Joe Rogan Protest, Demand Spotify Make ‘Changes’ on COVID ‘Misinformation’

PETER CADDLE 30 Jan 2022

Woke royals Meghan and Harry have denounced COVID ‘misinformation’ on Spotify, shortly after a number of artists abandoned the platform over podcaster Joe Rogan.

Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry — who both founded the anti-disinformation “Archewell” project — have denounced COVID “misinformation” on the streaming platform Spotify, demanding that the service make “changes” on issues concerning the Chinese coronavirus.

The statement from the wayward royals comes shortly after a number of artists abandoned the platform over its refusal to blacklist podcaster Joe Rogan.

According to a post by journalist Omid Scobie, a spokesman for Archewell has aired concerns the pair have regarding the debacle.

“Since the inception of Archewell, we have worked to address the real-time global misinformation crisis,” the statement read. “Hundreds of millions of people are affected by the serious harms of rampant mis- and disinformation every day.”

“Last April, our co-founders [Meghan and Harry] began expressing concerns to our partners at Spotify about the all too real consequences of COVID-19 misinformation on its platform,” the statement continued. “We have continued to express our concerns to Spotify to ensure changes to its platform are made to help address this public health crisis.”

The organisation’s criticisms come despite Meghan and Harry having a lucrative deal with Spotify reportedly worth $25m, with the royal duo being recruited into hosting and producing podcasts.

However, despite the deal, as of this reporting, only one podcast — a holiday special uploaded in 2020 — has been posted by the pair on Spotify under their Archewell Audio brand, with no additional content being published in 2021.

As useless as Howard Stern is, at least he produces something. What the hell do Meghan and Harry do other than grifting the taxpayer and going on Oprah?

My anscestors fought a revolution to kick them out. In all of history, no one has been more dense at taking a hint than the royal family! GTFO!

Pretty much my thoughts as well.

STFU and GTFO.

Unclear if that's everything he did with Douche Springsteen and E Street Band as well, or just his solo stuff.
