Stefan Molyneux interviews Peter Schiff

NICE!

2 of my favorite youtube worlds collide. Schiff & Molyneux in one video. I'm in libertarian heaven.

This is worth spreading around.

I won't have 48 minutes to spare until the weekend. Did it look like Stefan was impressed?

If so, that would be odd considering his disdain for Ron Paul for supposedly being a minarchist.

That was real good! I was kind of afraid he would attack Schiff for running for office, but he did not. He was very respectful. I have a better opinion of Molyneux as of late.

It was focused on the wide areas of agreement.

I think he summed up his views very well. He's willing to help people spread freedom the way they think they can best, and if they find that it doesn't work then the effort was still worth it.

Just a note to people wondering if they should listen to the whole thing, there wasn't any questions about ancap versus minarch or political action.

It was basically just covering the economic common sense Peter has always espoused and which you have probably heard already.

You might wanna jump the video forward to like 20 minutes in.

Excellent, Stefan was very well behaved. He even wore a suit. :)

Great quote from Peter Schiff at 9:15:
Hopefully one day we won't say Austrian economics, we'll just say economics because Austrian economics is economics. Austrian economics is astronomy and Keynesian economics is astrology. They don't have anything in common.

Great quote from Peter Schiff at 9:15:

Yeah, that was good. In one of his books (I forget which one) he also says something to the tune of "Austrian economics is economics. That's like saying there is such a thing as Chinese physics." It made me chuckle.

Good to note, little irrelevant I guess, that Rothbard was fond of Ron Paul's political runs. According to Paul, Rothbard really enjoyed it. Simply pointing out that anarcho-capitalists can still get behind politics. It is what I call being realistic. I don't know what Molyneux said about Paul, but he should still support the cause because it is realistic work toward his goals. And I wouldn't doubt he does.

I can't stand watching these long videos online, but it is great seeing 2 of my few youtube subscription figureheads within the same video. :D
