Status of Race?

I'm from Alvin and my family is still in Alvin, Galveston, Friendswood, Pearland, and Houston. None of them have heard of Peden. He's supposed to be mayor of Friendswood but my Friendswood cousin doesn't know anything about him. They are all Ron Paul supporters.

It is true Ron Paul is scaling back his efforts. If you are running a national campaign, and half the states are finished voting, you need much less staff. I seriously doubt it's because of any realistic "threat" posed by a no name city councilman.

The coast of Texas isn't really central to anywhere in Texas except those places nearby...

And btw, this all sounds like absolute BS.

Exactly. Some of the Paultards just aren't willing to accept that Paul has practically given up on his Presidential campaign, so they make shit up. He knows there won't be a brokered convention and he told us that. But some of his supporters just don't believe him for some reason. Paul is in a fight for his political life down there. Libertarianism for the most part is dead and Paul is starting to find that out.

Libertarianism is dead?

Please explain to me, at what point of political history in the last 80 years was libertarianism better off than it is now?

Remember, 50 years ago libertarianism was maybe 3000 guys, tops, reading the FEE newsletter.

Yes, it's not precisely the dominating idea of America, but the fact that more people voted for a libertarian candidate in this election cycle than were actually members of the movement 20 years ago is fucking amazing.

Yes, a lot of people had their hopes up and now they've been stepped upon by the Godzilla foot of reality, but it's not over, because it's never over.

....

Don't you just love these "polls" with all their valid "information" and their "inside sources"

WTF!!!! Are we living in Atlas Shrugged or something? WHY ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID TO BELIEVE THIS SHIT!
