A 281% increase. We raised 398,645 in the strict 24 hour period so times 2.81 equals 1,120,192 dollars. However I do think there are many less (percentage wise) hard core Ron Paulers that do not stay up till midnight or get up incredibly early to donate. So my prediction is between 1.5-1.7

The big factors no one has commented on: Making this go viral; If we can get enough momentum and go viral the rate will rise rapidly and feed itself. Secondly is how bad the debate pisses us off

Always seems to be a hockey stick that originates from a solid base at around 8-10 am... that draws out a projection until about 2pm, then it will sometimes increase the angle.

Thats why I would wish could have happened was a week long fundraising push like 4 years ago. It had time to go viral while it was happening. But I do understand that with the debate, and time of his announcement, that was more difficult.

Agreed. There is absolutely no reason to wait on donating. We need to build the donation base now. We have only raised about $250k so far today (subtracting out the starting number from the ticker). We really need to pick up the pace or we will not come close to $2 million.

Good. People in chat were 'bombing away' before the ticker came up. I had no clue how much of what was there when it finally appeared was from the money bomb. I figured it wasn't 'NanNan', which it said once when it crashed, though....

Based on old graphs it looks like just over a million all told, but the debate timing could impact that.

Yikes, that is not good. At the very least we need to raise $1 million. I'm not sure why this thing isn't taking off. We raised $700k for the Liberty PAC money bomb and that had FAR less publicity.

Well, I just donated my $325.00 I had earmarked for today. I may get my wife to give like $20.00 this evening to help pump up the number of donors and lower the avg donation (though I'll prob have to pay her back, lol).

I am just hoping to see $1 million today. Getting 7 figures would help with media attention. I also hope that if we don't hit the $2million goal that the day is not viewed as a "disappointment." I doubt any of the so-called front runners could even get $250,000 if they announced a money bomb.
