Start documenting media bias against RP in this thread, NOW

The title of this thread should be changed. It should read "Ron Paul Supporters Blame Media For Loss." And there hasn't been a single vote cast in a primary or a caucus. It's time to stop whining about the media and create a positive mind set with the media. I have already listen to 15 or so RP supporters on radio shows. And every one of them has called in with a chip on their shoulder. Not good! Work for positive change by being more courteous to the host and listeners of the programs you call into. It is the same 2008 and my post will not change the vast majority of people here. I have not committed to any candidate in the Republican primary. As things stand now Congressman Paul will not be getting any financial support from me because of this. In the past I have been generous with my support. Congressman Paul has always stressed that people need to take responsibility for their lives. And here we already see people looking to place blame on others.

I agree that our message should be positive, but are you really asserting that we shouldn't hold the media accountable for errors, omissions, bias, slander, and baseless claims? Isn't their job to report factually and objectively?

Doesn't it make you scratch your head a bit, as an "undecided voter," why there is a list a mile long of discrepancies from factual, objective reporting?

ETA: So when we try to hold the media accountable, we are whining. We are supposed to take responsibility for everything associated with the campaign, even those things such as shoddy reporting that fall beyond our control. Is that right?

look in the comment section, basically AP runs a story about the GOP field and leaves out Ron Paul http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_santorum2012
i send them an email and then find their facebook page and repost that message on a few of their stories, they reply to me saying they ran a story about RP the other day

i look at it and the first line they misspell his name, so i tell them this adding insult to injury as is my former troll nature and they say they'll correct the spelling

if they dont, mark this as bias and anyone with screen capture technology please get this

One day after the $1.1 Million Money Bomb Success... all media stories reference how "Ron Paul fell well short of his $2million goal" etc. etc. attempting to belittle our successes.

By all means lets make it positive. Boycotts and bad mouthing the media is not going to help. In fact it will have a negative impact. RP supporters need to learn the audience that they are trying to reach as well as the shows they call into. They need to learn courtesy and respect. Because a host does not agree with your views should not be a reason to be a jerk. That is what happened in 2007-08 and is happening now.

How do you hold the media accountable. Not by boycotts or bad mouthing them. You need to win them over a little at time. Find common ground.

This is where the win is. Social media is HUGE for companies now. They all are asking people to find them on Facebook and Twitter. That is good for us as we can affect the tone of discussion. The last thing these media companies want is to have the tide turn against them on Facebook. They are working hard to create followings on places like Facebook and that is the perfect platform to call them out.

CNN just profiled GOP leaders in the field of candidates and didn’t mention or show Ron Paul’s name once. They looked at if from a lot of different ways but completely left Ron out.

Edit: and just now they ran a self-promo ad, calling their journalism “razor sharp”. LOL.

@cnnbrk Why did CNN omit Ron Paul when profiling GOP leaders in the field of Presidential candidates?

Three Debate Polls That Don't Include Ron Paul

I put together these images showing three different polls from 9/8/2011 that don't include Ron Paul. In fact they only list three candidates. These polls refer to the GOP debate that took place the day before(on 9/7). Is it a coincidence or did they all get the same memo?

This thread should be 1000s of pages long. I see so many articles that either are lying or downplaying.
