Yeah, because being a homosexual automatically makes you a pedophile... We should ban straight men from coaching girls soccer and softball as well while we're at it. Ridiculous. Can't believe I agree with Romney on something. Crazy.

As pointed out in the other thread, where does the Boy Scout policy say being homosexual automatically makes you a pedophile? They also don't allow atheists to be Scout Leaders, does that mean they think being atheist automatically makes you a pedophile? This is a ridiculous argument. The BSA has the right as a private organization to make their own rules.

Ok, fair enough. But it is my understanding that the the BSA through it's various connections to government do indeed benefit from our tax dollars. Therefore they would have to abide by local, state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

romney doesnt need the social conservatives anymore. romney is pretty much the presumptive GOP candidate. romney will forget about the social conservatives and now try to woo the independents and moderates.

although, we could win over some "santorum-esque" delegates and make romney less presumptive. lol
