If U wanna help with this event, here's what we need:

-audio system for acoustic music & guest speakers
-Ron Paul/Liberty signs, banners, flags
-Ron Paul promotional items/literature to give away
-bottled water, pizza donations
-giveaway items
-help to clean up the area after the event
-otherwise just show up w/your Ron Paul T-shirts & signs & let's have a good time!

Word on the street is that "The Ron Paul 2012 campaign has been in touch. They're on their way to SC!" Don't know if Ron will be making an appearance but this is still great news.

Wait... Is Ron scheduled to attend this event, or is it a grassroots rally?

I ask because my meetup coordinators just said last night they confirmed an Aug 27th appearance from Dr Paul in our area. I was waiting to post the event here until I got all the details.

FYI LaDonna Ryggs, Chairwoman of SCGOP Spartanburg County has been in contact with the campaign in order to schedule a "twofer" with BOTH Dr. Paul's. She was shooting for June and that evidently will not happen but she's working on it. GT_Swagger you may not know about this (can't remember if I forwarded our e-mails) so would you mind adding some pressure to her to follow-up?
