''by God, we can't have a democrat win, i'm voting for Lindsey''

repeat that a few million times.

low info voter?...hah...more like red team blue team rah rah voters...

Lindsey is a democrat.

Guys, if any of Graham's challengers had the name recognition, money, properly worded message with little to no stupid errors and so on, then they would have stood a better chance. As is, they did not.

I talked to two hard-core GOP guys yesterday. They are pretty much Red Team rah-rah, but they were also very ignorant of the facts. All they really knew about Graham was the standard MSM soundbites that Lindsey is famous for and he uses to fool the masses. "Lindsey said he would impeach Obama!" Suckers.

Even if Lindsey wins the Primary today, it ain't over yet...

How about a wealthy, celebrity politician in the General?

Thomas Ravenel Issues Election Day Statement

Charleston, S.C. – June 10, 2014 – Former GOP statewide official and potential independent U.S. Senate candidate Thomas Ravenel issued the following statement on today’s 2014 primary elections:

This election cycle has been dominated by lowest common denominator appeals from candidates aiming to be one of the lesser of two evils. No wonder the vast majority of South Carolinians refrain from voting on partisan primary day. They’ve heard it all before – yet all they see is more of the same.

At all levels of government – but especially in the U.S. Senate – we need to declare our independence from the failed two-party kleptocracy that’s hamstringing our economy and drowning us in debt.

I would hate to be Lindsey Graham right now. He’s a two-term incumbent battling in a low turnout race to get the support of only half of his own party – hardly a ringing endorsement.

To all of those voting in today’s GOP primary who are sick and tired of seeing so-called Republicans like Graham vote to grow government’s debt, raise their taxes, monitor their emails, trap their kids in failing schools and send their sons and daughters off to fight in senseless foreign wars – real help is on the way.

More importantly to the vast majority of South Carolinians who are so disillusioned with the system they decided against voting in these partisan elections – a real choice is coming.

I see we have a terrorist sympathizer among us. ;)

Indeed, I do believe that Jesus Christ was considered a terrorist by the esablishment in his day, he is the one who came up with the Golden Rule, and I absolutely DO sympathize with Jesus Christ. :) :D +Rep

they're called old testament christans. Jesus's message doesn't sit well with them. they're more of stone you to death types than forgiving.

Uh, actually I'm an "Old Testament Christian." These people are the kind who will say that the Old Testament has been 'superseded' by the new. Which thing I actively dispute. Christians who embrace the Old Testament do not act like these pharisaic parasitic jack-holes at all.

Nope. They look like New Testament frauds to me.

When Jesus comes back, it is said to be on a white horse (not to be mistaken for "IN THE WHITE HOUSE" as some clearly seemed to have heard or interpreted it this way). AND clearly the Golden Rule was only meant for his time, as was the Bible. Today, we have YouTube, iTunes, and Google. Thank you. It's why the majority of "Christians" can speak in cute catch phrases and have a bumper sticker doctrine. You know, the real important stuff. The "meat", if you will.

And most will vote for the first candidate that says "Jesus" the loudest, while actually ignoring what he said, because well, the government is the solution.
We can honestly look to government to do the church's job, and then complain the government is the size it is, while our pastors have agreed to political bribery (see: tax benefits) for controlling what they say in the pulpit. Because that's how we roll. You are simply a far leftist terrorist sympathizer, with a foreign policy to the left of President Obama.

And on the "Old Testament" or "New Testament" Christians, I would reference Matthew 5:17, even though I don't think I can put that in terms where the average would comprehend it, much less understand the basics. Because clearly you aren't one of us. As a matter of fact, as I type this, I'm getting out my duster for my feet....
